Carlo Construction

Hired this company to do a complete (down to the studs) remodel of our 2nd floor bathroom. Project completed mid July 2017. On Jan 6, 2018 the plumbing started to leak within the shower wall and down from 2nd floor into our garage (ground floor). I called the owner, also our project manager, immediately. He was not at all professional nor was he responsive told us to "turn the water off and don't use it and call the office on Monday". Then he stopped answering his phone and the office number did not work (rang a while then fast busy signal) and I was unable to leave a message or speak to anyone from "the office". He did not send anyone out until Jan. 12 and she was not a plumber or workman. She said she would have someone come out today, Jan 15. At 8am today she said no-one will be available until Jan. 18. Informed her this was not acceptable as we have not had a functional shower for 10days now. She said that Carlos Veliz the owner had not informed her that the leak was discovered on Jan 6, and she was unaware that it had been 10 days. She and 2 workmen are currently "on our way", but neither of them is a licensed plumber. Very frustrated and disappointed. Small project. Huge price tag. Buyer be ware....very poor customer service. The company's warranty seems to be just pretty words and empty promises. Also although we paid for hauling and dumping there is still demolition debris on our property (dry wall, concrete, ceramic tile remnants, old fixtures, broken mirror, top from toilet tank, etc. We most definitely did not get what we paid for! Company is also doing business now as Elevate Builds. And has operated under at least 1 other name in the past 8 months (City Construction).
