Beware. Don’t give them a large deposit (and would not hire them ever again). We learned our lesson the hard way. Cassel doesn’t pay their subs or finish their jobs. Our horror story started when we paid a large sum for our windows and doors and Eric admitted he took our deposit but didn’t pay for the windows and doors. We had electrical, masons, painters, HVAC, countertop, among others drop off our job because Cassel did not pay them.

We hired Cassel Building Contractors to do a whole house renovation in 2016. Eric Cassel and those assigned to our job have always been extremely professional. Our questions were answered right away and the job moved along as scheduled. A couple minor issues arose after the job was complete. Eric Cassel took care of everything. He is committed to customer satisfaction! We would highly recommend Cassel Building Contractors.

My house is now finished. I cannot say enough about Eric Cassel and his crew. From the razing of my little cabin on Lake Wallenpaupack, to the beautiful Chalet I now have has been a wonderful experience. Eric and his crew are terrific to work with. They are smart, fun, easy going, meticulous, give attention to detail, and very dependable. Their workmanship is exceptional. Nothing that needed to be done was unimportant. If there was a hiccup, it was handled immediately. They stayed within the time frame they told me, and always advised me ahead of time if changes were needed to be made, and waited for me to be there to approve of anything. They didn't seem to mind if I made changes mid stream, or add an addition at the end, when it would have been easier to have done it at the beginning. I have worked with other construction companies thru the years, and would never work with anyone else from now on. A special thanks to Michelle who was always helping me. Eric, it has been a pleasure. Not only did you build me a house, but you helped make it into a home. Thanks....until the next project!!!

Cassel was hired to install two sliding glass doors. The work was done promptly and VERY professionally. The crew were very personable and did their job. There was no mess and any questions we had were answered very professionally. Eric Cassel is such a great guy and we would recommend their services to everyone. This is the second time we've hired them and both times we were VERY pleased. And they are very reasonable!!!

We could not have had a more pleasant experience!!! We had a vision for the house we wanted and Cassel was able to deliver it. Right from the beginning they were hands on in helping to design the house, generated excellent ideas and never let us sacrifice quality while at the same time keeping our budget in mind. The crews used on the house were of the highest caliber and had a tremendous work ethic. Cassel if very fair to work with and is also very thorough. it was clear that Cassel knew how to work through all details related to local codes, processes, logistics, etc…he was on top of everything. The project involved the complete renovation of an existing home but included a significant addition as well. The entire interior was redone and updated. This was the second house we built and we've talked to many people about their own 'builder experiences' - without a doubt Cassel stands above anything we heard and experienced ourselves. I would highly recommend them!!

Cassel Building Contractors, Inc. gutted and renovated two floors of our house, which included three bathrooms, three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, foyer/staircase and completely new entrance with covered porch. Throughout the process, we were extremely impressed by their professionalism, workmanship, and attention to detail. They made our nice home into a showplace! We love the final product and could not recommend Cassel Building Contractors, Inc. more highly.

Cassel Building Contractors, Inc. is our primary building company my family uses for all home construction projects. From a new bathroom to framing out a new home, we wouldn't hire any other company. They are prompt, fair and their work is top notch. Not once did we need to call them back for inferior or sloppy workmanship. Our large deck overlooking Lake Wallenpaupack was replaced by Cassel almost 20 years ago. It looks as good and sound as if it was done yesterday.

We have worked with Eric Cassel for over 20 years. Best thing about Eric is he responds quickly to calls and questions and if he says he is going to do something, he does. Not a quality you find in most contractors. Especially in the Pocono area. His employees are neat and the work is of the highest quality.
