Mark and crew handled a project for my elderly father with kindness, patience and thorough attention to every detail! Castle Pines did our basement in Denver. This company was amazing. Every night after the crew left we would go down and check the work. The basement looked as if no work was being done, it was spotless. The equipment was always put out of sight and the area was swept. The plans were exact and the workmanship was top notch. Family room, kitchen, craft room, bathroom, bedroom, exercise room. The owner surprised us and made a fun play area for my grandchildren under the stairs. The owner and his crew were professional in every aspect of building from knowledge to respect. Our basement was finished on time and was so beautiful. We had so many compliments. Mark designed my basement to include a bedroom, 3/4 bath and rec space for my kids. He worked within my budget, maintained great communication throughout the project and kept a clean workspace. He and his subcontractors were all great to work with and I'm thrilled with the completed project!

Mark did quite extensive remodeling to our fireplace wall and room addition. His sub contractors were able to install LVT, tile flooring and plumbing/HVAC. . We had a new fireplace installed which required framing to be completed per manufacturer specs...Fireplace, etc. was able to review the framing and there were no problems. I would recommend Mark. Easy to work with, attentive and quick to respond to ensure that the customer is satisfied with work performed. We couldn't be happier!

Mark created an additional bedroom in our basement and a sitting room off of our master bedroom. The project turned out beautifully, but the best thing about Mark is his ease to work with. He is easy to talk to/communicate with, responsive, and courteous in your home.

When we hired Castle Pines Basement and Remodeling, we had a general floorplan for our basement in mind, and they provided some feedback / modifications that seemed to make sense on paper. When the walls started going up, we really could see how much better the layout was. We ended up with a finished product that had the general layout that we wanted, with finesse that we love. Mark pays attention to finishes in the main part of the house so that the basement finish seems like it was meant to be there. Mark's crews were always very friendly, polite, and easy to work with. When we asked for a few last minute additional work requests, Mark was always prompt with reasonable estimates for the added scope, and the changes were seamless even though they were OUR after-thought. Mark runs a VERY clean work-site, which may not be everyone's priority, but it really speaks to his professionalism. Several times a week, we go down and watch a movie in our little theater, which we thought would be fun to have, but it turns out that it's a really great retreat from the daily grind, and we use it way more than we ever thought we would. Eventually, we will have a few more renovation projects and we will contact Castle Pines Basement first!

On time with firm control in all aspects. Used best materials available. Discussed every facet before and during construction. Sub contractors were on time and perform good work. Large basement with over 2000 square feet. Had our complete confidence so much that we took a two week vacation right in the middle of the building phase. Mark and his sub-contractors did a great job on our basement. Were there some setbacks and delays? Yes, but that's to be expected and were due to things out of Mark's control. The job was still completed in the window he originally gave us and ahead of what we anticipated. Mark pays great attention to detail and quality. He and the guys doing the work are respectful and come and go through the egress windows. My wife and I originally hired Mark because he seemed open and honest, and he took the time to explain the project, what to expect, the budget and decisions up front. That was important to us. Some of the other companies seemed rushed, too laid back or pushy. We had several bids and Mark's came in about in the middle of the pack. We're happy with the final product and glad we hired Mark to do it. Our basement has a great room with a TV and dry bar, a bedroom/office and a bathroom. We also moved the laundry from our main floor in to the unfinished portion of the basement which doubles as storage.

Castle Pines Basement finished our basement this summer (2014). Approx 1000 sq ft. including bathroom, bedroom, rec room and additional storage. A great team! From the day Castle Pines Basement (Mark) came to give an estimate, it was a pleasure just to talk with him. I had several other estimates and they were just all "business", about the up-sell, closing the deal... and even abrasive at times. I felt like I was just another project between projects. But Mark was much more approachable, easy to talk to, very personable and just wanted to hear what we wanted. I felt like we were his most important project. He understood that we were talking about OUR HOME, not just another project and spent as much time with us as we needed. I expressed my concerns about budget constraints and he obviously listened and worked within our budget to give us the best materials and craftsmanship possible. There were never any surprises. His team was honest, very respectful and up front on everything… everything that was about to happen… as it was happening… and even the unexpected set-back was handled with great honesty. He explained the options and most of all gave encouragement, there were no surprises! He was always receptive to our feedback and encouraged us to visit the progress throughout the project… and I believe for that reason; he kept the work site clean, clean, clean! He always let us know when and what to expect, his team came-and-went through the window wells, so we never had to answer the door, or let them in. They had their own port-o-potty so that was nice! There were times I had to listen for them just to know they were there. It took about one week longer than he had originally estimated for time to complete but that was honestly sooner than I truly expected. He was on budget at all times, itemized his billing, billed at appropriate increments (never in advance), and even suggested (or absorbed the cost of) upgrades when budget allowed. All permit inspections passed without question. He is an extremely upfront an honest person. And that is much appreciated when venturing into something like this. I highly recommend him and expect to use him again for our next remodel. I recently had the house appraised after the basement finish and got a 95% ROI !!!! That is unheard of for a basement and a testament to Mark's quality, attention to detail and craftsmanship. Oh, and the basement has now become the center of activity in our house and we love it!

The heavy 2013-14 winter snows collapsed the porch roof on our mountain cabin in Breckenridge. Castle Pines Basement and Remodeling Company took on the job repairing not only the roof but the stairs leading up to the front door. Bottom line, the house may blow away someday but the stairs, porch and roof will remain standing. The end result is excellent and the process with which the crew did the work was also excellent. Clean, efficient, and professional all the way.
