Working with John and company on our Master Bathroom remodel exceeded our expectations much to our delight. From the initial planning stage, they helped us decide how best to accomplish our goals. The communication was always responsive and prompt while moving through the planning stage to the work and actual completion of our project. Trent, our Project Manager, was always on hand (via phone, text and in-person) to coordinate the work and workers completing the work being done. There was never an issue they didn’t handle or resolve…quite amazing. All of their employees and sub-contractors were prompt and a pleasure to work with and have in our home. We would not hesitate to use they again!

We, like many of our neighbors, had our lives changed for ever after Harvey and the release of the dams. However, we were blessed to have friends and strangers who helped in the first few weeks, giving us hope that there was a brighter future. Our luck continued when we hired Craftsmanship by John (CBJ) to rebuild our house and make it a home again. They listened and heard what we said we were looking for. They were mindful of the cost, but also made sure that we did not “cut corners” on items that would be compromised if we took that path. John Gillette, the owner, was deeply invested in ensuring that we would have the home we wanted. We had weekly meetings at the house, with our wonderful project manager, Jackson, to review progress and talk about the next steps and any changes that we wanted, or they suggested. Teressa, the designer, gently and efficiently led us through the process of choosing everything from tiles and carpets to door handles. CBJ stayed remarkably on schedule, partly from experience and partly because of the relationships that they have developed with many of the best subcontractors over the years. CBJ kept us in the loop at all times and let us know if there were any changes. They completed the work on schedule, in fact a month earlier than we had assumed it would be done! It was also on budget, with very few Change Orders. The quality of the work is exceptional. They come by the Craftsmanship in their name honestly! They made all the custom cabinets (of which there were many) in house. They even managed to save the glass from our old front door and mounted it in the new one. Everyone in the crews were professional, but also invested in restoring the wreck that they were faced with and making it a home again. They noted that I am not very tall and lowered the shelves in the pantry enough that they worked for both normal and short people! We have been back in our home for 3 weeks. It is everything and more than we had hoped for. I thoroughly and unreservedly endorse Craftsmanship by John for all your building and remodeling needs.

Craftsmanship by John has remodeled my master bath, kitchen and powder room, in addition to updating several rooms in my home. They are detail oriented and the workmen are so tidy. I LOVE the remodeling they have completed for me!

They installed my mahogany French doors and did a beautiful job - perfectly measured to fit. They also installed my new oven and microwave. The oven didn't quite fit the space but they had someone come out immediately and cut enough to get the oven in the space. I like that John comes out himself to see what type of service you need and then he has a follow-up person after that. Only suggestion I would have is to hire a decorator for the more personal jobs that need a special look.

in the past 20 years I hired many contractors to remodel my house. Not one contractor comes close to Crfstmanship By John. Crafstmanship by John is by far the best contractor out there. They added a floor in my house. The job that they performed was meticulous. They were right on target with timing. They don't cut corner. They do what ever it takes to do the job the best way possible. Everything from relocation of air conditioner, to addition of lighting, walls, ceiling was top. During the renovations, they consult you to make sure that you are satisfy with the way things are going.

Over the past 12 years, John has done several significant remodels for me ranging from the entire house, to gutting and rebuilding an upstairs floor, to remodeling one room, to building an oversized greenhouse. I have developed so much confidence in John's ability and integrity that we now discuss a project, he does it, and then sends me a fair bill. I highly recommend him.

Craftsmanship by John, Inc. built and donated a credance table to be mounted to the wall in our church. The expert workmanship and attention to detail in matching the exiting Tabernacle and Altar in style, material and color cannot be stressed enough. I looks as though it has always been there.

We have used Craftsmanship by John for numerous remodels over the past 15 years. Some were small jobs but several were major remodels. In our most recent remodel, we took almost every wall back to the studs, moved the location of the kitchen, added a garage with space above, raised all the ceilings on the second floor and remodeled all the bathrooms. We also removed the old pool and replaced it with a new one and added a grill area. Every time our experience was great and we were so pleased with the finished product. We highly recommend Craftsmanship by John for any remodeling needs, both big and small.
