We had our first kitchen done by Countryside back in 2016. That was in upstate Ghent, NY. Then we moved into a home in Peekskill, NY and the first call we made was to kitchen designer Lawrence Martin to figure out a complete update. Both kitchens were knockouts. Lawrence is super talented and great to work with. All the folks we met at CC were kind and generous. The biggest PLUS is that nothing is stock. Everything is stick-built and custom. There's not much they can't do. In our case, they made our counters/cabinets 1" higher as we are both tall. And there is the standard extra 1" bonus depth in cabinets on all of their builds. The wood selection is terrific and the quality of the install is peerless. And they use great hardware with top quality slides and hinges. 100% satisfied!

CC Woodcrafters played an integral role in creating our beautiful new kitchen. Cheryl carefully designed graphical renderings showing suggested cabinet placement layouts, allowing us to get a good feel for what the room would look like once the project was done. She created multiple versions as we tweaked small things here and there, all while ensuring that the designs married beauty with functionality. She also helped us to select sinks and quartz countertops. Once the cabinets were installed, one of Charlie's crew members came out and made a custom cut out in one drawer to accommodate our gas stove, and also adjusted the hinges in the cabinet doors to ensure that they didn't swing out too far and bang into any walls. We are very happy with our new kitchen and would highly recommend CC Woodcrafters for all of your cabinet needs.

Such a pleasant surprise! I did my "homework" and after 7 other vendors, I chose CP WOODCRAFTERS! These guys are amazing: ON TIME ON BUDGET NO SURPRISES! They did an beautiful job and now I have a NEW KITCHEN! I would recommend them to everyone !

I don't normally write online reviews, but I just had to share my complete and total satisfaction with CP Woodcrafters. We had them reface a built-in custom vanity (a larger project than it sounds--it is structurally integrated with the shower in the master bathroom), and they did a spectacular job! We are so pleased with the work: They reconfigured the drawer/cabinet setup to increase the functionality, and aesthetically it is beautiful! Cheryl and Charles were easy to work with and very professional. We really couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience of working with CP Woodcrafters. I wish I could say the same about the general contractor who handled the rest of our renovation, but that's a story for another review. THIS story has a very happy ending!

This was our third time using CP Woodcrafters. For this project we had a middle room that we just were not sure what to do with, it is currently working as a playroom for our daughter but eventually will be a dining room. We decided we needed added storage and some ambiance in the room. CP Woodcrafters added in beautiful built in cabinets and a fireplace to an unused corner of the room. The fireplace fits in so seamlessly it looks like it has always been a part of the house. The built ins added much needed storage and the ability to hide all of the toys.

The master bedroom in our 1860 Victorian had been a parlor long ago. The closet was created by adding a wall and hanging a shelf with a bar beneath it – closing it up with double bifold doors. The bathroom was a small square that had been part of the entry foyer, there was no door and very little space for two people. We had put up with this for 20 years. Deciding we wanted to stay at least another ten, we decided it was time to upgrade those two aspects of one of our favorite rooms in the house. Looking here on Houzz we got the idea of a built-in set of cabinets instead of an open closet. Armed with an image for the closet and a few ideas for the bathroom, we approached Charlie through his Houzz listing and he responded promptly. He listened well, generated drawings from what he heard to confirm our desires and his understanding of them, and began the cabinet work in his shop while demolition began in our bedroom. Charlie's onsite supervisor Kenny did a great job of coordinating the subs and roughing out the spaces. We maintained a constant dialog around the arrangement of the bathroom, the lighting, and finishes. Through it all Charlie and his crew were accommodating and always kept us apprised of the impact of our requests in terms of cost and time. The job site was cleaned daily, the rest of the house was always available to us, and even the dogs loved having Kenny and his buddies around. The end result is stunning. The cabinets – both the closet replacement and the cabinets in the bathroom – are superior to anything else in our house, and any other cabinet work we have ever seen. The bathroom is a joy to be in and we benefit every day from suggestions that Charlie and his team made in the process. We highly recommend CP Woodcrafters for their cabinet work as well as the renovation and interior construction capabilities.

Our home had some water damage that affected our kitchen cabinets so we decided to have them refaced. We obtained 3 estimates and decided on CPWoodcrafters for many reasons. First of all, we liked him (Charlie, owner) found him to be very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Secondly, he was the only one that came out to give us the estimate that wasn't a salesman. He is a cabinet maker so he knew exactly what was needed along with some suggestions to make the project beautiful. He was upfront with the fact that we would have to wait 8 weeks for the service, but it was well worth it. It took about 4 days to complete, and the men that were here started at 7 am and some days stayed until 5 or 6 pm. They were neat and respectful of our home, courteous and professional (and I felt very comfortable leaving them in my home without me being there.) By the 2nd day I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, and by the 4th day we were blown away by the transformation! The kitchen went from an old dingy oak to a bright rich white- the cabinets were beautiful! Charlie had made a few suggestions (no pressure) and we decided to go with them and so happy we did. He built out the cabinet above the refrigerator so it looked built in, and also put an additional door on the other side of the island for easier access to storage. He replaced our old drawers with the nice slide ones that close with a push. The crown molding he made for the tops of the cabinets were elegant and made quite a difference. Needless to say, we are thrilled with our new kitchen, and so happy we went with CPWoodcrafters! HIghly recommended

CP Woodcrafters did an excellent job refacing our kitchen cabinets and installing new granite countertops. They did a beautiful job and the kitchen looks amazing. I have to say that, through no fault of Charlie's (the business owner), there were a few major "glitches" in the installation (which I will not go into detail on here). The important part, and what I would like to communicate, is the way it was handled by Charlie. His "if you're not happy, I'm not happy" attitude made all the difference. My main point is, if you hire CP Woodcrafters to remodel your kitchen you will get a great job at a fair price and you will be very happy with what you get.

When you combine creativity, expertise and exceptional design talent, it equates to remodel perfection. The added benefit is Charlie and Chryl's "can do" attitudes to please the customer. They give maximum quality at a reasonable cost. Work ethic: They arrived early and completed the project timely. It was the best money spent to date on house remodeling.

CP Woodcrafters built a gorgeous wall of bookshelves in our living room in Stonington, Ct. We wanted to have something in keeping with the mid-century modern style of our house and Charlie was sensitive to all of our desires. The finished product is gorgeous. We are delighted with the outcome. It exceeded our expectations and all who see it are amazed at the beauty of it and the quality of workmanship. It's a "show stopper." Charlie was delightful to work with. He was responsive, cooperative, upbeat and professional at every turn. He personally oversaw the project, but the men he employed were just as great. They all interfaced beautifully with painters, electricians and everyone else involved with the project. Charlie is upbeat and energetic and assuaged my fears at every turn. Plus, he promised that he would come to fine tune any adjustments that might be necessary at any time, and we know he will honor that. I can't recommend him highly enough and will certainly call on him for future woodworking projects. I am a former teacher and I would give CP Woodcrafters a A++.

I would highly recommend CP Woodcrafters. They are professional, courteous and easy to work with. Charlie will go above and beyond to accommodate all of your needs and requests. Their pricing is extremely reasonable and their workmanship is impeccable. They were fabulous with budgeting the project and starting and completing the project on schedule. My kitchen remodel involved refacing the cabinets since the boxes themselves were solid hard wood and after interviewing several contractors almost none of them want to do the labor involved in refacing. Charlie understood our needs and the refacing looks beautiful. We also had a lot of glazed crown mouldings, window trim and door casings done that just brought the project over the top.
