October 2025: We had our kitchen countertops redone by Chain of Lakes Granite, Richmond MN. I had not purchased countertops for several years, and Lisa explained everything I needed to know to help me make my choice. The installers knew exactly what they were doing and were very nice. They answered all my questions and made a couple of little adjustments on the spot. It was obvious they cared about the quality of their work and wanted me to be happy with the finished countertop. The whole process went quickly, they delivered them on the promised date, all for a very reasonable price. Great place to buy your next countertop.

We had chain of lakes do the granite in our kitchen and I'm absolutely in love with my granite counter tops. The office staff was so helpful picking out our granite slab and when they installed it I was so happy. The installers were so polite and very careful and I felt they really cared about my kitchen. When they were done they explained everything what to do and what not to do for 24 hours. I will absolutely use them again and I'm very fussy and if you are looking for a company that really cares about your satisfaction check email out. You won't be sorry.

Chain of Lakes Granite was incredible to work with. They went out of their way to meet us at a time and date that worked with us at the shop to pick out our slab and made the process so easy and enjoyable. The employees are so nice and the response time and personal emails and call backs are great.

We have hired Chain of Lakes Granite (on the recommendation of carpenters we trust) for two historic restorations. Restoration work is more challenging than new construction because of many surfaces that may not be straight and level, the need to work around and preserve original cabinetry or millwork, unusual heights or widths, fitting things around structures that can't be changed, etc. The first project, a large 1910 Edwardian, had an all-custom kitchen incorporating antique pieces. It turned out beautifully, and Chain of Lakes kindly returned an extra trip to cut a hole for something we hadn't planned. Our current project (still unfinished) is a charming cottage in the French Norman style and everything is small! Tight spaces and our hope to preserve original African Mahogany cabinetry has created a few challenges that they have managed beautifully - the stone in the kitchen is done and everyone is happy, though fitting a kitchen sink into the space was not easy. A bathroom vanity made of original-to-the-house cabinet pieces has also been a puzzle, but their focus on service and excellence has gone above and beyond to create the space required for the plumbing fixtures. It's not easy to find a company that is willing to do creative, problem-solving work. We highly recommend Chain of Lakes Granite.

Customer service at Chain of Lakes has been phenomenal to work with- so easy to get in contact with. They are very personable. I had gone to 3 different companies for bids and when someone gives a bid on a whole house project- customer service is so important! They also worked with me and were able to get me different bids. The installers are easy to talk to and discuss options with! Our counters are amazing, but our kitchen is an absolute dream!

Our experience with Chain of Lakes Granite was wonderful! All interactions with the Office Staff, the Gentleman who did our measurements (twice due to changes on our part), and delivery Crew were courteous, friendly and accommodating. We price shopped, and Chain of Lakes Granite had by far the best pricing, and were super efficient in walking us thru the choices and procedures. The Beautiful counter tops were delivered on a morning of 28 below zero temperatures, and the delivery crew were cheerful and professional in the face of a difficult delivery. All in all, I highly recommend this wonderful local business!

She took the time to go thru their variety of types of stone, listened to what I was interested in, and helped me feel confident in our final decisions. It is clockwork that every person who has come to see our finished home puts their hand on the stone, feels it, and is just in awe at the beauty and function it provides. Granite is an investment, but it is so durable, functional, doesn't scratch, and it's so beautiful. I'm so glad we spent the little extra for a lifetime of functional beauty instead of spending almost the same and feeling disappointed and limited. Chain of Lakes Granite is the best granite company we've ever used! We use them for decking countertop and shower stall placement in our Kimball home and was so pleased we decided to use them again in our new Lake home for kitchen countertops and bathroom vanity top. This company is prompt courteous and their installers are quite informative. We will definitely use this company again for any remodeling needs in the future.
