About Us

After graduating from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree, I moved to the Emerald Coast and, in 2010, established Clay Feather Pottery and Tile. I have attended tile and Schluter ® Systems installation courses sponsored by the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation of Pendleton, South Carolina. Schluter ® Systems develops products specifically for the tile industry to endure that installations maintain integrity and durability. The Schluter product line includes tile trims, uncoupling membranes, floor heating systems, waterproof building panels and shower systems.

Zach did all the tile work for my master bath renovation and I highly recommend him for renovation work or new construction. He is an artist who takes pride in his work and the end product shows it. He does excellent work. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so.

If you have Zach doing your tiling you are in EXCELLENT hands! Not only does Zach do a fabulous job he is also very creative. He put together tiles for me that are fabulous looking! Do not hesitate to hire Clay Feather! You will never regret it.

Zach is personable, professional, and a great installer! I would recommend him to anyone looking to re-do or update the tile in your home - kitchen backsplash, fireplace surround, bathrooms, or tile floors. He did all the tile work on my bathrooms when I recently purchased my house and wanted to upgrade! I would recommend again and again.

An artist with tile. Attention to detail, has great ideas on how to improve layout. Knows how to work with all material ...stone, glass tile, tile. Keeps up and gets trained in the lastest installation processes ex schluter systems. Have used zach for two consecutive new construction projects.
