An incomplete project and community problems caused by a new account manager who finds hilarity in refusing to acknowledge the proper officer contact for landscaping projects and completion work. Hired this company without other management oversite. All is compromised, turned on its head, telling me the CF principal will not talk to me. Lesson learned to sweep out problems.

I had them pull out several tall, overgrown shrubs and plant around 22 new smaller ones. They did a good enough job and said the plants came with a 6 month warranty. The plants were all rated to survive at -10° temperatures. The six months were approaching, but I could not yet tell how the plants made the winter. I asked about the warranty and suggested I might need a few plants replaced later. They summarily dismissed my query with "act of God" verbiage even though the temperature only dropped to 0°. No offer to provide any support, whether or not it is really needed. They charged 3-4 times what the shrubs cost in nurseries. I was somewhat ok with this given the warranty, but very disappointed that they wouldn't follow through. I find this ironic since I read an online article where one of the owners talks about other companies not providing good follow up for concerns and backing up their warranties. They are no different so I cannot recommend them for landscaping services.

Clients First completed a phased project for us that required putting in a retaining wall, fence and leveling the yard. After the ground had settled we moved into the next part of the project which was a new pool and landscaping. Mike designed the entire project and his team followed through and executed the design with little error. We live on white rock with a very sloped yard so we knew we needed to hire someone who knows what they are doing and we are happy we picked this company. Now we just need the weather to warm up so we can use our new pool!

I recently had some foundation work done on my house which devastated my front flower beds and grass. I contacted Clients First Landscape Solutions to give me a quote and help me with a new landscape design which included a retaining wall with drainage to prevent future foundation issues. Everything turned out beautifully and I am sure I will be enjoying it for a long time. I really appreciated their professionalism. They returned all of my phone calls, emails, and texts, kept appointments, showed up on time, gave me a competitive quote, and completed the work as scheduled. I will definitely recommend them to all of my neighbors and friends.

Clients First Landscape Solutions did my neighbor's yard, and I loved it so much that I contacted them for my own yard. Zach met with me 2 times to make sure everything fit my budget and vision. He has great modern taste, and the yard is exactly how I envisioned it. There were a few bumps along the way that led to my yard taking longer than expected to be finished. Zach made sure to send guys back out to fix anything that I wasn't satisfied with. Great service and commitment to customers!

We had an extensive landscaping project that included a brick retaining wall, a flagstone walkway, river rock, ground cover, underground drains, drip irrigation in the beds, plants in the beds, extending the front porch, and tiling the porch. Whew!! His bid was a bit higher than the others, but I liked his stone work and the variety of expertise he had available to do this job. I am very glad I chose Clients First. The office manager is easy to get ahold of, and is great at handling everything that came up. Zach, the owner, is great to work with. He showed me a retaining wall brick pattern that I just love, and he runs a complex business well. The project team was beyond fantastic. Abel is the crew leader, and he could not have been more helpful to the men and to me. He is calming and reassuring, and he follows through. Esteban is the brick layer, if that’s the right term. The retaining wall is SO beautiful!! It exceeded my expectations- prettier than I even imagined it would be. Thank you, Esteban, the brick artist!! Kyle and Mike ran the sprinkler lines. It was more complex than they first imagined, and there is still an issue, but I am confident it will be solved soon. They have been true to their word throughout. The patio is not finished yet, but the team working on it is simply great- I’m excited to see it finished. Several families in the area are interested in Clients First. I highly recommend them!!

Our first meeting was with Mike at our home expressing our vision for the patio and side yards. It was Mike who provided the overall concept and sketches. Kyle accompanied the crew on day one and reviewed with us and explained the plan with the crew so all parties were on the same page. Each day the crew showed up promptly at 730am and worked diligently and tirelessly until 5pm. Omar, crew leader, was approachable and amenable to questions. The job site was always picked up prior to the crew leaving @ 5pm. Zach visited our home a couple days prior to completion. There were a few punch list items and a leaking irrigation line that delayed the crew a day. The three principals and crew, along with Diana, were professional at all times. Communication amongst all was great. I have recommended Clients First Landscape to neighbors and we will hire, again, for future landscape projects. Thank you!

I began the project to put in a flagstone patio on my own and pretty quickly got in over my head. I called CFLS to come out and give me a quote to finish out the job with the materials that I had purchased. We had a tight timeframe because we were hosting a party and needed it to be done by then. It became apparent that the materials I had purchased were not sufficient for completing the job. They came up with an alternative solution and knocked it out within our time window. The patio looks better than I imagined and it has been a wonderful addition to our backyard!

July 2017 - I met with several landscapers before choosing Clients First for a significant project. I made the right decision. My experience with them was exceptional from start to finish. Zach was very knowledgeable and responsive from quote to completion, and their team did an excellent job executing our project. They engaged us regularly about our preferences and were extremely responsive to any minor concerns we had. In the end, we got exactly what we want and the work looks great! The company truly lives up to their name. Our project included the following work: - concrete pool deck & path replacement with paving stones - retaining wall rebuild - stone wall tuck pointing - flower bed edging replacement - back fill and leveling of yard - sod replacement - crushed granite path installation along fence line. I highly recommend them for all of these services! --------------- June 2018 - I want to update my previous review, because I had a settling issue with the pool deck pavers Clients First installed last July. I contacted Zach to let him know about the gaps opening up between the pavers and the cracks in the stone border mortar. He immediately responded that it was covered under warranty and provided me with a time frame for his team to repair it. They came out, added re-bar and concrete to the foundation to prevent future shifting and relaid all the pavers. Couldn't be happier with the responsiveness and workmanship. Many companies are quick to respond to problems when money is on the line, but this is one of the few I've worked with that cares about their clients when there is nothing to gain financially. Couldn't be happier!

Saw all the great reviews on this site and thought they would be a great fit to redo our backyard living space. Called - lady on the phone gave me the same $2.5K minimum project (mine was going to be in the tens of thousands). I gave her a description of scope and she said "oh yea we do all that". Tried to nail down some dates and times to have a review/quote given and I was told "Our sales guy doesn't do after 5PM". I'm sorry, what do you expect to happen when people actually work for a living? Anyway, she said she'll make him come out after 5PM. Day comes along - guy is 15 minutes late. Drives by our house twice in his clearly marked Infiniti with CFL logos all over it. Finally parks and comes to the door - clearly as uninterested in providing a quote as you could get. Give him a high level what we want to do, he says "Yep we can do all that, let me go get you my business card." Walks out, grabs a card, walks in and hands it to me and says he will have a quote over in 2-3 days. Considering we are tearing out and replacing decking, redoing the pool, not even a single measurement? His quote comes (a week later I might add) with a single amount and two line items. What's the point? Why would anyone in their right mind ever go with this company if they provide a 2 line quote/estimate with no details, no measurements taken? Worst sales experience ever.

We had a stone retaining wall and 8 foot cedar fence installed the first couple weeks of February 2018. The experience was fantastic. Exceptional Customer Service. Zach represented his Company very well during estimate process. This was a big job, the crews were punctual, professional and hard working. Both crew leaders were great, but crew leader Jerry was exceptional. He strived to bring perfection to the work. He was always open to customer input and questions. Everything we expected was completed and completed to perfection. I ran a large Customer Service Organization for a large Corporation. Our expectations were high and could not be more pleased. It was a quality job all the way around.
