Jennifer is Principal & Senior interior design lead on all Core Interior’s projects, with a genuine interest in Psychology of design, is an out of the box spacial planner, with a cultural awareness of embracing differences and a keen sense of human behaviours and environmental sustainability. Core Interiors is a boutique team who utilise specialised contractors according to qualifications, experience and projects requirements. We pride ourselves on ‘working with you our clients’ & offer unique, custom, high end designs that stand the test of time. Core Interiors has serviced Canberra & NSW South Coast, Australia since 2013. We now service Canberra and Queanbeyan only. I was one of those "husbands" skeptical of any value of an Interior Designer - because, "I knew my own taste". - HEAVEN's was I wrong! Jen Angelatos - the company lead from CORE INTERIORS has been a Godsend. She listened, detailed options and alternatives to test our scope, tastes, and objectives. She introduced us to materials, resources, and concepts that we otherwise were oblivious of - and would have very likely overlooked. Jen's design skill is an art that enhanced the space and the quality of our lifeuse in the space. Its a consistent visual story from the front door to the back - with a few personal tweaks along the way. She was conscious of working within a budget framework and was clear why certain aspects would or wouldn't work. At all times we owned the objectives - so decisions rested with us. In other words, she wasn't precious about us saying "No or maybe not" to some ideas. It was a joint path. So rather than seeing the role as an additional cost - Jen actually saved us money by avoiding costly mistakes. Jen provided a solid track for all trades and us to run on. When we ran into issues - she was a go-to person for reassurance and solutions. We believe Jen and her team have added immense value to our home. Jen and her team are trained to think differently, spatially and to see an overall picture that clients like us often cannot. We would highly recommend the team at CORE INTERIORS because they thought outside of the box - held a specialized eye that maximized the use of space with a consistent “wow” factor over the whole project. Thank you Jen - you were invaluable!!

We used Jennifer from Core Interiors to help refresh our colour palette, wall treatments, artworks, lighting, custom upholstery, creative art selections, furniture sourcing & joinery finishes for our family room & kitchen lighting and our formal lounge & dining spaces. Jennifer used some of our existing furniture we love and selected an fabulous upholstery arrangement on an heirloom pair of lounge chairs given to us from my father. The process was seamless, Jen appreciated existing pieces and elements that mean something to us. Jen was a pleasure to work with and we now love being in these spaces even more.

Jen was great. Helped me narrow down what I really wanted and then came up with a number of different options for me to choose from, within budget. The detail on how the work was to be done made for a hassle free job. Our new bathroom was fantastic and addressed all the problems I had with our old one.
