This company was fabulous in every way. I am in the process of updating a huge stone fireplace and wanted a rustic mantel, so I ordered one online without any concern except I wanted something pretty. Although the mantel was pretty, there was no way it could be mounted on a bumpy stone wall without some way to make it "fit". The artistry of Estephan (hope I spelled it correctly) made three templates and carved out the solid piece of wood to make it fit the ups and downs perfectly. He and Don mounted it on the wall with great precision, and it looks beautiful. Don made another trip to our home to glue it in place because I changed my mind about using glue. He also hung a huge picture over the mantel for us because Ken and I together couldn't get it up high enough and onto the hook. The cost was very reasonable and everyone associated with Custom Corners was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them for anything fireplace related.

I highly recommend this company. They built us a custom fireplace mantle from a picture to our specifications and we were able to choose the wood and finish. They completed the project in less than 2 weeks and it turned out great. Heather was very responsive to all our phone calls and emails.

Heather created some open shelves for a kitchen renovation I was doing. Standard open shelves are usually 3" thick and I was looking for something narrower ( 1 3/4" thick) for our small kitchen. Additionally I was looking for one long open shelf (100+") which I was being told could only be done in sections. It was important to me and the look of the kitchen to get this long shelf done in a single piece. Heather assured me she could get the job done to my specs. She was super easy to work with and always responsive throughout the process. I was thinking the shelves would take 4-6 weeks to complete and ship, but Heather got the job done in under two weeks and ended up delivering them herself directly to my home. Wow! The shelves look awesome and I had a great experience. I highly recommend Heather and would definitely use her again for any future wood working projects.

Custom Corners originally manufactured my kitchen cabinets back in 2007. Over the years, many of the hinges became loose due to normal wear and tear. Unfortunately, I was having a very difficult time getting someone out to fix the hinges so I contacted Custom Corners to see if they knew of a good contractor. Instead, Heather from Custom Corners offered to come out to Naperville, Illinois on the Memorial Day weekend to fix the hinges. Heather and Don came out to Naperville and spent approximately 5 hours on site fixing the hinges and upgrading some of the hardware. Their work was very professional and the doors work like new again. We were in the process of selling the home at the time so getting this work done was a huge relief for us.

I ordered a mantel from this company and it was just perfect for my living room. Heather went out of her way to ensure perfection for me. I highly recommend them.

Don and Heather created a custom mantel for our fireplace which was in process of being newly constructed. They sent over various stain samples within a few days and completed the mantle in just under 3 weeks. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is impeccable. Very nice couple and truly a pleasure to work with.

We are thoroughly pleased with our cabinets and mantles from Don and Heather. They exceeded all our expectations. From the beginning to the finish of our house being built, they had great communication with us and our builder's subcontractors. If we ever need any additional cabinets then I would definitely call them first.

Don and Heather are amazing people! We loved the fact that they were a small town local shop. We love to support the local guy vs. the big chain shops. The built absolutely beautiful cabinets for us. They were very informative theough out the entire process. We established a budget amd they didnt go a penny over. Infact it was under. Their cabinets come standard with what other stores would call “upgrades”. Quality, craftsmanship, and fit and finish were amazing.
