Cynthia Ann Design

We used Cyndi as our kitchen designer and couldn’t be happier with the result! When we decided to remodel our kitchen, Cyndi came in and immediately translated our desires into a beautiful vision of what our kitchen could be. My husband and I have completely different tastes – he is very traditional, I am very modern – yet she knew how to meld our unique styles into a warm and inviting space that both of us love and enjoy. It is great for entertaining and very functional for the baker in the family! Cyndi helped us design the kitchen of our dreams – then she helped us pick out all the materials and appliances and even helped with the contractor to make sure our dream came to life. We had never remodeled a kitchen before so we didn’t know what to expect. She worked with us step by step through the entire process, answering all our questions and providing design guidance on everything from cabinets to flooring to bar stools to drawer pulls to be sure everything came together seamlessly. Her design expertise transformed the entire space from kitchen to front room including modernizing our fireplace mantel and hearth. She designed unique, custom pieces that look like furniture but add a tremendous amount of storage space for our home. Every time we host a party, people comment on how beautiful the design is, how much they love the colors and the metallic accents, and how open and spacious it makes the room feel. Cyndi did an amazing job of creating a kitchen that embodies “traditional meets modern” and is drop-dead gorgeous! We used to eat out all the time because the kitchen we had was dated and not very functional. Now that we have a kitchen we absolutely love, we can’t wait to “eat-in” and enjoy the space! Cyndi has a fantastic repertoire of ideas and a knack for bringing them all together – no matter the size of the space or the budget you are working with, Cyndi will find a way to give you a kitchen you will love for years to come – just like she did for us!

Our historic home kitchen remodel was a real challenge to design. Cyndi was instrumental in not only coming up with solutions to difficult predicaments but also making us feel very comfortable during the entire process. The result was a kitchen that maintained it's historic charm but is quick to announce the WOW comments from our friends!

Cyndi was our designer when we completely remodeled our kitchen. Our kitchen went from being ugly and non-functional, to a beautiful very modern kitchen that has all the functionality needed to make cooking fun again. During our project, Cyndi gave us great design ideas, not only on the kitchen itself, but also ideas on how to update our dining room so that it would be as beautiful as our new kitchen. Remodeling is a stressful time for anyone. Cyndi was also there for all my questions, both in person and whenever I texted her pictures of furniture and decor for the living room, in addition to our kitchen remodel. My husband Tom and I relocated from Chicago and we decided to buy the model home in a new development. Even though the home was complete and beautiful, we wanted to do more with the backyard space. After seeing designers and not caring for their ideas, Cynthia and a general contractor came over to evaluate our space. Cynthia listened to our outdoor kitchen ideas, and to our envisioned dreams; she understood immediately, went outside and began planning. She even offered ideas (such as the radius and shape for the bar top) that we hadn’t considered. Cynthia continued to show her expertise when we picked out materials. After the project began, we immediately hit a roadblock with our HOA. Cynthia patiently offered redesigns of our original drawing in order to please us and to satisfy HOA requirements. She remained engaged throughout and when we later ran into a snag with the contractor, she stepped in to ensure the design would be completed as promised. Cynthia was warm, flexible, professional, and easy to work with. We couldn’t be happier with our new outdoor space and we highly recommend her expertise to anyone. She made our outdoor dreams come true!
