We worked with Blake to design and build our lovely garden. He is a visionary with no ego so extremely great to work with. It was an extensive project with tight deadlines that were strictly met. He developed the plans and made them a reality - with a keen eye to our budget. His attention to detail is impressive. We liked that he was both the architect and the builder. Now Dunlevy maintains the garden. It was one stop shopping. One person took full responsibility for all of the details. The Dunlevy team is hardworking, reliable, honest, polite and knowledgeable. Every interaction with them exceeds expectations. I could not be more pleased and we recommend them to you without the slightest reservation.

We had D&A landscapers remove a tree from our yard. They were so professional and polite, they cleaned up, and the work was wonderful-every root was gone and the yard looked great. We also had them install a cut flower garden. Their choices of flowers were perfect. I enjoyed the beautiful blossoms all summer long. They also did our spring clean up, which entailed a massive cut back of all of our shrubs due to the extensive cold temperatures last year. Everything has grown back and filled into great looking plants. Now I'd trust them to do anything, they are great landscapers.

As the president of a homeowner association I am always looking for vendors that can do the work without issues and can provide us with an Assortment. A one stop shop. Someone that I can trust to do the job correctly without someone standing over them during the process or having to call them back for corrections. When you have many eyes on you all the time looking to complain like I do you don’t want to hire someone who has come up short and has not completed the work with care. I can say I have found my one stop shop. I call D&A for everything. I can call the office with a tree emergency and they will show up that day or the next to assess the situation and give me a quote so I can let the homeowners know that it will be taken care of in a timely manner. Which I love, they have done our drainage work as well as replaced and repaired our damaged sidewalks. I have never had to call them back with a complaint. It is very refreshing to have D&A on my side. I highly recommend them!

This is the third time that we worked with Dunlevy - the first time was last summer when their tree service worked on all of our large trees; the second was last October when they solved a flooding problem in our backyard by 'raising' the yard. No more flooding! This September / October, they worked a huge project that involved creating landscape steps, more hard space with pavers, relocating our fire pit, and new landscaping. While the project took longer than planned, it turned out great. They have a top notch team and really care about their work. Wouldn't hesitate to offer a recommendation...which is why we keep returning to them!

Below is an email I sent to DA Dunlevy after the project was completed: "Things look great and the team that worked on the project was very professional and paid attention to the details. Please let them know how impressed we were with them. Also, the process, from meeting with you and Blake, the design, and implementation were done very well. I found everyone to be honest and this is important to us. Based on our past experience, we have found this is not a common quality among contractors. Everyone was also responsive to the few issues that arose." Will plan on working with them again for any of our future landscaping needs.

Commented: What are the 7 trees that create the privacy?Those are Nellie Stevens Holly trees. These trees are not only great for creating privacy screens, but are also low maintenance as they will keep a uniform shape as they grow (no pruning!).
