Designs by Dana is residential design company led by award winning Interior Decorator, Dana Michaels. She was the Co-Owner and Interior Design Consultant for a major custom home builder in Argyle, Texas for twenty-one years. Dana's love for incorporating found architectural elements and antiques in her work has set her design aesthetic apart from others in her field for the past 20 years. A passion for design and bringing together a beautiful space for her clients to enjoy has been and continues to be her number one goal. We came to Dana by way of a personal referral which was well deserved. Our project was perhaps a little more simple than others, we wanted to convert an unused sitting area into a new office that was partially soundproofed. We ended up extending the hardwood flooring into this new office, the dining room, and the living room. Dana was a pleasure to work with. Dana is always available when needed, she keeps on top of the work, and paid great attention to the small details. In the end the result was exactly as expected and fits perfectly into the feel and decor of the house. We remain available as a reference if you have questions.

Dana did a kitchen remodel & whole house paint update on our home preparing it for a sale & has since helped with the design of our new home. She has an excellent eye for placement of items in the home, listens to her client, & makes things happen! She has great resources & always is willing to help her client find items that they want. She always goes above and beyond on her work. She has done three projects for me, each one different, each one outstanding!
