Perfect Design completed the master closet in our home. They worked with us to design the lay out as well as what we could do to best utilize the limited space in the closet. David met with me multiple times and each time he was very professional and listened to what we needed to store everything in our master closet. Michael installed the closet, and he did an outstanding job. He was very meticulous in the installation and ensured that the project was finished according to the agreed upon schedule. He also cleaned up each day when he left our house to ensure that area that he did not leave the area messy. I very much appreciated this. This project went smoothly and exceeded our expectations. The outcome is that we have a master bedroom closet that works for us.

Dave Ouellette and team did a great job for me on a gun cabinet/display piece. Very high quality and they produced it just when they said they would. Dave was very meticulous in making sure he had the correct measurements to accomodate all types of long rifles and crossbow. Can't recommend them enough.

Shortly after retiring an moving to Pinehurst, my wife and I were referred to Dave Ouellette and Perfect Design Cabinetworks, LLC by the realtor we worked with while buying our new home. She has been in the real estate business in the Sandhills area for many years and, I believe, knows all of the best trades people personally. She certainly has directed us to some really fine folks. While the house we purchased was brand new and, in general, the fit and finishes were far better than you would expect in a typical spec house, there were a number of projects that need to be done to meet our personal needs. The first was finishing the office space. It was just four walls. At a minimum, we needed a built-in desk and computer storage, cabinets, and most importantly, lots and lots of bookshelves. When we first visited his shop, Dave was working on a custom project, clearly demonstrating to us his hands-on approach to his business. However, he gladly stopped his work and spent some time with us discussing the basics of our project. At the end of this meeting, we set up a date and time for him to come out to our house, view and measure the office space, and finalize the design. Initially, I was pretty set on my ideas as to how the various elements should be arranged. Nevertheless, Dave was able to convince me that some modifications he had suggested would better solve some of the issues we encountered in the design. In retrospect, he was spot on. After that second meeting the actual work proceeded quickly. The crew that installed the finished products was prompt, respectful, and very professional in their work. The completed project looks terrific. My wife and I were so pleased, we immediately asked Dave to take on a second project, i.e., filling in some dead space in the guest bathroom with a custom cabinet and some shelves. This project was completed in a timely and professional manner, as well. Everyone who has visited our home has commented on the look and feel of the two rooms where Dave and his crew worked their magic. Given the outcomes of my two experiences with Dave and Perfect Design, I can highly recommend this firm without any reservations.

David recently did the cabinetry of a kitchen remodel in our Pinehurst home. He matched new cabinets exactly to existing cabinetry in size, shape, and color as well as built a new kitchen island. As a (hobby) furniture builder and refinisher, I feel I can judge his work and say his work is high quality, meticulously done, with an eye towards craftsmanship and detail. Dave met with us a number of times before the project, we spent February in our Florida condo, and when we returned the entire project was done to perfection. There was no need for oversight. Perhaps the best compliment I can share is that next winter - he doesn't know it yet - we hope to engage him in a complete remodel of our master bathroom and walk in closet.
