We had the pleasure of working with David to design our custom home in Fort Collins, CO. From our very first meeting one of the things we were most impressed with was that David is a great listener. He took all of our ideas and combined them into a well thought out, practical, and stunning design. Though we had many ideas, he thought of things we would not have that were important in the final overall design, function and feel of the home. He made what could have been an overwhelming process manageable and enjoyable. The design pace was good and David was timely in his response to questions and changes along the way. The 3-D pictures and videos he provides do an amazing job of representing the final product. We were referred to David by a friend and have since referred several other friends to him to design their homes (which is the best compliment we could give). We worked with David on the design of our new custom home. From start to finish, he was fantastic to work with. In the initial design phase, he listened to what we wanted and then came up with an amazing design we liked right from the start. For the small changes we requested, he was quick to go with our wishes. When we had to pull it back a bit for the budget, he worked hard to keep the general feel and intent of the house but still find efficient cost-cutting measures. As a side, his software that allows you to actually see and walk through a potential new build is so amazing--for someone who has trouble visualizing a home from a blueprint, this is a real bonus. During the construction of the home, David worked with us and our builder to make sure the integrity of the design was followed. We whole-heartedly endorse David Hueter Design. David designed our new home and WOW are we pleased! We have had several homes built and decided to invest in a great architect to ensure the success of our project in the end. David is not only an architect and a designer and has built several of his own homes. Having the additional knowledge of how things will come together and flow in the house was a great advantage. David really covered every detail from lighting, to flow, to providing us with a 3-D model to help with scale before we finalize the design. We've been in the house almost a year and I don't believe there's anything we would change. The home Daivd helped us biuld is really a work of art.
