About Us

I’m Dale Davis and I design interiors. It’s been a long journey to get here, but I'm quite proud of each and every project I’ve completed and am looking forward to helping new clients create imaginative functional spaces for both their homes and businesses. After studying interior design and architecture at East Carolina University and Virginia Tech, I’ve worked to hone my skills and build a wealth of experience to bring to each project. I established Dale Davis Designs in 2005 and have since completed numerous projects, from dentist offices to churches to private homes. What makes my work different is that I incorporate my client’s tastes and preferences to create personalized designs. I also have the ability to thoroughly visualize the entire project before construction starts with the goal to identify the design issues before they become financial problems. Ideally, I like working with my clients to first clarify their vision for the space. Next, I help them redefine that vision into something that is tangible and appropriate for them and it’s intended purpose.

Dale redesigned our Master Bath and supervised construction. We had a number of space constraints that she was able to work out so the end product meets all our needs - and is beautiful as well! The shower is a work of art and the new cabinets offer excellent storage and functionality. I felt comfortable leaving Dale in charge of the design implementation while we were out of town. We came back to a gorgeous new bathroom!

Recently, my husband and I redid our kitchen and tv room. Dale Davis was suggested as our Interior Decorator/ Designer. What a treat it was to have her help us on this project! She was a real pro! Not only was she knowledgeable, she also made it lots of fun. She made sure that both my husband and i were 'heard' in our likes and dislikes. She was very patient as we both needed time to think about certain choices. It was her goal not only to save us money, but also to please us. I so enjoyed our time together as we went to the different stores in and out of town. Dale has such a great personality that it was truly lots of fun doing this project! Not only did we get a beautiful kitchen and tv room, I made a new friend along the way! If you are need help in a home project - big or small.....let Dale be your Designer!

As a Remodeling Professional, Dale Davis goes above and beyond with both her customer rapport and her quality of work. We recently acquired an office building located on Lynchburg's Historic Court Street, and were immediately overwhelmed by the remodeling process we were about to undertake. We searched for a bit locally and came across Dale, and wow, did she deliver! Her enthusiasm for her work and ability to stay within any budget without sacrificing style or comfort is truly a skill to be admired! We have used Dale for several projects, but the most impressive project was our master bath renovation. She has the ability to visualize the entire project, and point out and provide potential issues before construction where they can be cost effectively resolved. Her recommendations are so spot-on, that she has my implicit trust. One of the best complements I can give her is no matter where we travel, even the luxurious vacation resorts, I always come home to a nice relaxing shower and am simply amazed at how much more I enjoy our master bath.
