My wife and I highly recommend Dean for his knowledge, expertise, and professionalism. We are thrilled with our kitchen. Dean designed a beautiful kitchen—it was transformed from a merely utilitarian space to a warm gathering spot! We were so happy with his work that we used him for our 3 bathrooms and our laundry room. Again, we truly love our new kitchen and could not be happier.

We met with three vendors when going through the design process for our kitchen, and Dean Hammel was wonderful to work with. It's clear he's an expert in his field, and takes pride in what he does. He understood our vision, and was also able to fill in the gaps when we didn't know, or he felt there was something better suited for us. We very much appreciate the time he took to explain everything to us. It was a great experience that made our choice to go with Home Depot for our kitchen renovation. Our cabinets were recently delivered and they're beautiful! Just what we wanted! We will be sure to post pictures once the kitchen is done.

I have done well over a dozen kitchens as a designer and builder of luxury homes. Its hard to fine a designer who 1) knows how to effectively use the the computer software, 2) knows their product, 3) knows the recommended building standards for kitchen designs, and 4) most important has a vision and creativity to make even the simplest kitchen feel inspiring but at the same time functional. I have worked with many designers and Dean is one of the best I have worked with. He takes direction very well and puts your ideas on paper but at the same time he is not afraid to add some excellent observations and insight to the design. He and I have had many discussions on layout, function and design. Sometimes he won and some times I won the discussion but what came out was a great finished product. We worked very well together and also had some laughs along the way. He and I were able to use standard cabinets but yet make it look like a custom kitchen which saves money. When the pieces arrived and installed there never was a shortage of moldings or other small pieces as Dean was very accurate in computing the correct amount of material. Can't say that about other designers I have used over the years. I have done two kitchens with Dean in the past few years and hope to do more.

Dean helped us to design our kitchen in 2006. We still love it to this day. He was extremely helpful and had great advice and inspiration. Years later, we had one small problem, which Dean stepped in and helped us get resolved immediately. We would highly recommend Dean for all decorating projects.

We worked with Dean to design our kitchen project back in 2015. Dean was extremely helpful in providing guidance on gaining the most out of the unconventional space that we had to work with. We combined two rooms into one which left us with a very long and narrow room that was challenging to design . We had to plan very carefully to ensure that we left enough walking space in between cabinets and countertops, enough room for our breakfast bar to accomodate 3 people, and provide the maximum storage while still maintaining an open feeling. Dean provided a wealth of design knowledge, decorating ideas, and construction suggestions. I actually did the installation (my first big project of this kind) and he offered excellent guidance to me along the way. We now love our new kitchen and we have Dean to thank for helping us to get the final results that we had hoped for all along. I would highly recommend Dean for any of your design challenges!

Dean was professional and courteous. While designing our kitchen, we were quite overwhelmed but Dean made it easy. When the cabinets arrives, everything was in order and our blueprints made installation a breeze.

Dean knows his stuff. We were sent to Dean by our contractor for planning out our kitchen remodel. Our contractor had worked with Dean on countless projects previously for other clients, so we trusted his suggestion and we couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. From beginning to end, Dean was on top of every detail and he delivered what he promised. He knows what his customers want and works within your budget to help your project come to life. We loved working with Dean so much that we had him design our bathrooms and mudroom as well. It was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with Dean and we highly recommend him to anyone wanting a project done to perfection.

Dean helped with updating our 1990's kitchen. He created a lovely new island with cabinetry that both looked great and provided an abundance of storage. His ideas for special touches, such as 'feet' at the base of the island and a wine glass rack where a writing desk had been, helped create a much needed updating. Dean was always pleasant to work with and patiently accommodated our questions and shared his ideas. It is evident he loves his job!

Dean designed our kitchen in 2017 and was a complete professional. This was not a simple redo as we moved every appliance, removed a large window and completely repurposed an eat-in area to double our cabinet and counter space. Dean went the extra mile to have a shop manufacture a custom brace for our island top due to the need for under counter seat storage because our kitchen is long but not wide. He wanted to ensure we had proper spacing around the island. We leaned on his opinions when it came to "fads" versus "timeless" and "practical" versus "gimmick" storage solutions. Needless to say, we have lived with our new kitchen for 18 months now it continues to wow and impress friends and family when they see it for the first time. I highly recommend Dean, you won't be disappointed.
