Deck City

Deck City is a vibrant growing company which was established in 2004 by Jason Thiessen, a journeyman carpenter. Jason has many years experience in the building industry working in both residential and commercial building. He has vast experience in every stage of home construction as well as concrete work and construction on many commercial buildings in and around Winnipeg. Although Jason had experience in many different areas of the building industry, he chose to build decks fences and screen rooms because of the satisfaction of working with homeowners and providing them with great new spaces to enjoy. In 2011, his wife Jennifer Thiessen joined him full time. Jennifer brings a love of design to each project. Jennifer first started in deck design in 2006, where she learned to create unique deck spaces that functioned well for each homeowner. She went on to study architecture at University of Manitoba then work with cabinet design for a couple years. Now, working with Jason, she works full time to apply the design principles learned to create amazing outdoor living spaces consisting of decks, sunrooms, pergolas and fences. Together with our amazing team of builders, we strive to make sure that your experience with designing and building your new deck, sunroom, pergola or fence is as hassle free as possible.
