Dominic and his team were outstanding, highly skilled, reliable, friendly and always had timely communication. Our project involved rebuilding a second floor balcony-patio on an almost 90+ year old stucco home that was beginning to collapse . Dominic's team not only succeeded in producing a structurally improved patio, but also managed to match the exterior design so perfectly to what was there originally, that no one can tell that the patio was rebuilt. We love the finished product!

Paul (Sensitive Information Hidden) and all those at Edward A Anderson Company helped transform our 1890s house into our home. We purchased the home knowing it was in need of a lot of love and structural work. Paul came out to give us an idea of what we were getting into before we closed on the property or signed with the company. My husband had sketched his vision and Paul brought it to life with some of his much needed professional experience. From the very beginning, Paul made every step easy. You pay a premium with a design build firm, but you get what you pay for (excellence). The entire two year process was met with communication, professionalism and excellent work. Dianne manages the office and is very organized. She is on top of things also making it clear and easy to understand the process. The general contractor overseeing our home project was Tony (Sensitive Information Hidden) and enough good can’t be said about how easy and reliable Tony and his subs were throughout. Our family moved in about a year in and everyone worked around two young toddlers, dogs, visitors, crazy work schedules, nap schedules, etc. It should also be noted that my husband is as detailed oriented as they come and has a love for technology. Paul, Tony and crew did not bat an eye at the visionaries thoughts and ideas (and sometimes critiques). We found that the check ins were very helpful and the estimated timeline they provided helped guide us along. My husband and I often said, we left our meetings with Tony and Paul feeling better than when we went into them. The supply chain issues did affect us. However, Tony is the king of pivoting, just lining up another crew to stay on pace. There were some unexpected costs, they worked with us to stay within budget and make some changes where we could. It is unrealistic to go into any project thinking you won’t spend at least a little more than you thought or needing to compromise somewhere. Our renovation was a full gut in the Lakeshore Historic District of Evanston. While our home itself was not historic, there were many extra steps to take to get approval from the city. The company has the bandwidth to manage this scale of a project and many locations, always making you feel like you are their only client! That is hard to do! In fall of 2019 we began a much anticipated house project with Paul Armstrong of Edward Anderson as Architect and Project Manager. Having lived here for more than 12 years we understood exactly how we lived in our home - what worked well and what didn't. Our project encompassed the entire first floor -foyer/entry, office, living, dining and powder rooms as well as kitchen, mudroom and family rooms. We had specific ideas about design and functionality that Paul understood and implemented seamlessly. But the added value were the new ideas or even strategies that Paul presented to compliment our existing plan. His measured approach not only spoke to our sensitivities but assured a cohesive plan. Successful Implementation of design is largely predicated on the quality of the general contractor. Dominic Manieri of Edward Anderson is a talented craftsmen with expertise in all areas of construction. Most notably Dominic is "a worker". His strong work ethic and attention to detail was centered on standards and practices that assured integrity in our project. Dominic set the same standards for any sub-constractor brought, reviewing each stage of their work. Lastly, it has to be said what a nice guy Dominic is. Dominic was so easy to work with, understanding of all questions and responsive to any issue that came up. He was very easy to have around our family and in our home. Please note timing on our project was a bit delayed due to Covid issues.

Edward A Anderson helped turn our 127 year old Victorian into an open concept 1st floor kitchen remodel that we love! From beginning to end they were friendly, imaginative and productive. They were professional and worked through problems with several different solutions. All of their employees and subs were great. Working everyday, you did not have to guess if they were going to be there or not! Would highly recommend them!
