Denise is a pleasure to work with. She has very cohesive ideas and is creative in her design. I always felt that she had the time for me and seemed energized to help me. A great designer!

Loved working with Denise. She truly listens to what you have to say and works within your budget. I am very glad I found her since I had hired interior designers previous to her and felt that they were always trying to get me to buy something I did not want or were 3-4 times my budget. Denise Dering Design has helped update and renovate my home over the past several years, inside and out. Her fresh perspective and design energy to bring the inside & outside of my home together was refreshing. Natural elements like hardwood floors, granite, stone and natural woven wood shades & beautiful color choices have brought my home to life!

Our family has used Denise Dering Design for two projects: one indoor and one exterior. Denise's attention to detail and personal touch left us completely satisfied with our family room updating. She assisted us with a television wall unit, a sideboard cabinet, a sofa, recliner, Queen's chair with ottoman, as well as matching it all to the area rug, paint colors, and window treatments. Amazingly, she made us feel like we were her top priority at all times, although I am sure she had many clients. She was professional with us, yet friendly at the same time; she followed up with arrival dates and ensured that we were taken care of. We were so pleased with her work IN our home, that we asked her to redesign our landscaping which included two "islands" of greenery, trees on the side of our home, a patio renovation, and a vegetable garden. Her suggestions for improving the look of our home were innovative and her instincts are on point. Now in our third season with this new garden/landscaping, we couldn't be happier with how the new transplants have taken to our yard. In addition, last year when one of our Japanese Maples did not survive the harsh winter, SHE took the lead on making sure it was replaced (under warranty) at no charge or inconvenience to us. We cannot recommend DDD more enthusiastically. She is reliable, professional, and will individualize your home to your needs.

Her interior and exterior designs are exciting and beautiful! I love seeing what she is working on and wished she was in NC!
