Destin Elite Tile

Here is how I would describe Destin Elite Tile: professional, knowledgeagle, trustworthy, on time, and on budget. We received several proposals for tile installation in our home and Destin Elite Tile's estimate was very reasonable. Slava, the installer, came to the house reviewed all the rooms that were to be tiled and provided the estimate a couple of hours later. We contacted him the next morning (Thursday) and after placing a deposit, Slava scheduled us to start the following Monday. Slava and Hector showed up every morning at 8:00 AM and worked all day. Before leaving, they thoroughly cleaned up all the working areas and left the home in excellent condition. Slava provided a schedule for completing the tile work and he completed on the date he planned to. We had several areas where Slava needed to transition from existing tile to new tile and one existing transition that had been constructed very poorly by the previous tile installer--they had left one side of the transition 1/2 inch higher than the other side. Slava suggested a method of correcting this elevation offset and he executed it perfectly. The tile laying design, tile cutting, laying, grouting, and trim installation was exceptionally well done. My wife and I could not be happier with the completed product and we highly recommend Destin Elite Tile for any flooring work that others may need. We are actually looking through another house we own for areas that need work that we can get Destin Elite to do for us. We are that pleased. I have been in Real Estate for over 20 years in Destin and have used Destin Elite Tile for most of my clients and all of my personal properties. The work is above standards of most companies. The prep work needed for a good result is often over looked and they do not cut corners from prep to install (many do). They also work hard to get the job done in a timely manner. They have done flooring, kitchens and many baths for us.

From our initial contact at the showroom to the completed project, we could not have been more pleased. From the preparation, removing the old tile and travertine to the laying of over 2200 sq ft. of polished porcelain tile, the quality of the job was totally outstanding! There are not enough words to describe how happy we are with the service and skill provided by Destin Elite Tile. We recently bought a 2nd floor wood framed condo where the flooring had become very unlevel as the building settled over time. The original tile job was done very unprofessionally, and over time as settling occurred, the tiles had cracked and pergo flooring was installed in the entry which looked horrible. We consulted with 7 different people, some general contractors, some flooring installers, and some handymen. We were given different opinions by everyone, some of which told us we couldn’t retile because it would be a major trip hazard and the tiles would be uneven. Another said we could only tile with smaller square tiles because of the unlevel issue. At one point, we didn’t think we’d be able to install any kind of flooring that would look halfway decent, at least from what we were being told. We were referred to Destin Elite Tile, and Slava came out and evaluated. He was very professional and confident he could make the floors look great. The floors would need to be stripped down to the subfloor. He really didn’t act like it was as big of a deal as what others made it out to be. Marina and Alex did a great job helping us find a 40" wood plank tile that would complement the existing tile, and we had Slava and his crew do the install for us. And wow! There’s definitely a difference between people who are skilled in their field and those who aren’t. These guys know what they’re doing. They don’t just say they can do it, they have the skills to back it up. We are blown away by how beautiful it all turned out. We have no idea how they were able to pull it off, other than the fact that they’ve apparently done this a few times! I would say to anyone in this area, save yourself the headache of calling around to multiple people. You won’t find a company like this one. The prices were good, the people extremely professional, and the skill level…unmatched. If we ever tile again, they’re the only people we will call! Thank you, Marina, Alex, Slava, and crew for making our condo absolutely beautiful! We didn’t even realize it would be possible to look like it does. Just stunning!

The customer service, workmanship and attention to detail that Destin Elite Tile provided on our recent renovation was excellent. They managed expectations by telling us everything they would do, how long it would take and stayed in schedule. They demo- ed 3 bathrooms and ~1700sf of tile in two days and we had minimal dust.
