DG Construction

Dave Gerdes did several jobs on our 1940's cape cod in Maryland between 2000 and 2003. The first job was a complete sanding and refinishing of the hardwood floors. The work was completed both timely and turned out excellent. Dave initial put on a urethane that after drying he felt was too soft, so he switched to a different brand and the floors held up for 5 years with a dog and no marks or scratches in the flooring. The second job he did in our house was a complete kitchen remodel. We had gutted the kitchen and prepped the floors, and Dave came in and did a full install of cabinets, countertop, and appliances (dishwasher and stove). The stove required reconnecting an exisitng gas line, and moving it several feet due to the new arrangement. The full installation was completed in a couple days and the new kitchen helped sell our house in record time. Overall we were extremely happy with the work Dave did on the house, and wish he lived near us now to do work on our current house.

David Gerdes has done many projects for us. All of the perfect and reasonably priced. The most recent was to paint our living, dining, bedroom and bathroom. I appreciated his guidance in choosing colors. In the past he has helped in many smaller jobs He has been wiling to work around our schedules. He is personable and this is very important to us - he cares abour our 4 cats and has never let them escape. I trust him completely.

Dave Gerdes / DG Construction worked extensively on a major renovation project at my home. When he arrived on the job the project had already begun and the project manager told me "we got lucky" - a person he knows with exceptional skills was beginning to work on the renovation. The project manager was referring to Dave Gerdes. The project manager was correct. After Dave Gerdes began work at my house the entire project moved much more smoothly and rapidly. Not only did Dave show up on the job every day in a timely fashion, but I especially noticed how he took control of the projects which needed his guidance. The quality of Dave's work at my house was excellent. And working with him was always a pleasure. I found Dave to be extremely honest and hardworking.

DG Construction did an outstanding job on our kitchen remodel. He was respectful of cost, was a good communicator and had creative solutions. We have since used him on other smaller projects.
