We hired D-K Construction to remove a wall between or front room and family room. They also enlarged the doorway into our kitchen. The entire project took about one month and they kept us apprised as the project moved forward. The workers were very professional and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. The project involved demolition, redoing electrical connections including the thermostat, redoing some duct work, redoing the ceiling, new flooring, trim work and painting. Also installed stacked stone for fireplace around new mantel and installed new hearth. Overall very happy with the skilled work and fine detail. Will contact when next project comes up

Darin and his team from D K do excellent work with a high attention given to the details of my requests. If a particular detail was not correct on the first attempt, they worked with me to satisfy my requests for improvement. When the job was complete, all details of the project were as I requested. D K's craftmanship is very high quality. I will work with them again.

We began our kitchen renovation the end of July, with a complete gutting of the existing kitchen. The team from DK were a joy to work with, always on the job site at the same time every day, organized, meticulous to detail, and finished daily with clean-up. Unlike some construction crews, they never smelled of smoke, played loud music, or took hours for breaks. Always pleasant, and timely with their work, we were impressed with the personal quality of workmanship as our kitchen took shape. Now completed, our new kitchen is the result of many hands cooperating to create the beautiful reality that was once only a dream!!

We hired D-K for a complete kitchen remodel. They were very professional, transparent, accurate with their time and cost estimates, and provided helpful recommendations for details like fixture placement and functionality of the finished space since we didn't work with a designer. They also provided good guidance on upgrades appropriate for our historic neighborhood, since they've done a lot of work for neighbors. They have many subcontractors working for them - as all contractors do - and there were a couple of small miscommunications, but none of them would prevent us from hiring them again for a future project.
