After interviewing several builders, Daniel Lichty (Lichty Brothers Homes) was our choice to build our "dream home." Mr. Lichty was a joy to work with--his innovative suggestions, his willingness to not only listen to our ideas but to bring them to fruition and his uncanny ability to make even the mundane details better than we expected. He provides so many beautiful finishing touches that our home is definitely a quality custom home. Our home has an energy saving environment for gas, electric and water--bills are significantly smaller, and we are more comfortable. The subs he employs have worked for him for many years. They are efficient, reliable, honest and provide quality work. Mr. Lichty ensured our home stayed within our prescribed budget and kept his schedule for completion which was important to us. His personal integrity was evident in all our dealings. My husband is a woodworker and is very particular about all things "wood." He was very pleased with our custom cabinets and extensive trim work. Again, Mr. Lichty only uses subs that do quality work, and it is evident all over our home. We hired Lichty Brothers Homes in late 2014 to construct several stone walls (one a retaining wall); install manufactured stone on select gables of the front of our home; redesign the front bay window; build new mantels and shutters; paint the entire exterior of the home; and design and install new landscaping in front. From the beginning of the process we were very impressed with Lichty. They listened carefully to our project desires and provided an extremely detailed proposal and timeline. We did solicit proposals from two other contractors and there was no comparison in terms of laying out the project, timeline, and costs for various project aspects. We definitely knew what we were getting for the money spent with Lichty compared to the other proposals. Throughout the project Lichty was top notch in communicating status and next steps. His crew was professional and did a good job of keeping the project area clean. Lichty was highly responsive when we had any questions. We were at project completion, and continue to be very happy with our project, and would definitely hire Lichty again for future needs.

Daniel Lichty was prompt his men were always on time very courteous and friendly. He was willing to listen to what I wanted and design it and build it on the spot. For instance I wanted a cabinet built for my bathroom to go between the sinks even though I had a mirror across the entire wall in front of the sinks. He built the cabinet and framed the mirror it looks like it was always there. I love it. He met the deadline and stayed on budget. I'm going to hire him next to redo my kitchen. I can't wait.
