About Us

Rex Doornbos, a Wyoming native and University of Wyoming graduate, has lived in Star Valley since 1996 with his wife, Sarah. After honing his carpentry skills throughout Teton County, he began his own construction company in 2002. In 2010 Timberline Associates was created to meet the rising demand for custom built homes and hangars at the Alpine Airpark. With an eye for quality and detail, each home Rex builds showcases his artistic creativity.

We decided to do a major home remodel in 2013, tripling the square footage. Timberline Associates met all our expectations and more. We wanted a rustic mountain look, using stone, timber, cedar and recycled barn wood. It was a complicated design that evolved with the help of an excellent contractor. Rex Doronbus gave us that "Rex Magic" we were looking for. We finished on time and are proud of the quality and workmanship of our home.
