We struggle to find words to express our appreciation for Dora and Sally. If anyone out there is looking to find the right people to trust for some of the most important decisions you will ever make, look no further. These two talented designers were wonderful to work with and easily understood our hopes and wishes for the home of our dreams. Of course we had a budget, but Dora and Sally were able to use their expertise and experience to find creative ways to fulfill our goals within our means. Now that the project is complete, we realize that the small cost of Dora Brigham Interiors was the best money we spent!

I hired Dora and Sally for a job that was extremely difficult, fixing up a 5000 SF house that had been neglected and was falling apart. The place had unique vintage charm and was filled with top notch hand painted artwork. When other designers recommended scrapping everything so I could "go modern," Dora saw potential in the unique classical style of the house. Dora and Sally worked through all sorts of challenges, including COVID delays, furniture delays, problems with contractors, and the world was just turned upside down during this renovation. Dora and Sally were not bothered by all the problems, they stayed professional and focused about this job. Now that all the details have fallen into place, what has emerged is a totally unique and special home. Ideas and furnishings I could have never imagined have all taken shape. Dora and Sally found all the right antiques and finishes that no one would have known where to find. These ladies have a lifetime of experience in this craft and it all comes into play on a difficult project like this. This house now gets offers all the time for film shoots, photo shoots, fashion shows, etc. In a world where most luxury homes are modern and boring, Dora and Sally have harness the old world charm of my house to create something truly one of a kind.

We are so pleased that we chose Dora Brigham Interiors to help us with several projects in our recently remodeled house. We found Dora and Sally after we remodeled our 1951 Ranch home to make it more contemporary by turning several small rooms into one large open concept area and moving other rooms to different places in the house. We realized that we had no clue how we were going to choose and place furniture, pick paint colors, or figure out the correct sized mirrors for our radically changed home that we had lived in for 28 years. Dora and Sally are so easy to work with; they were always cheerful, on time and full of great ideas and samples to share with us. They saved us so much time (and I’m sure money) by knowing where to start first and how to incorporate several specific living areas in the large room. They worked together on an overall plan for us so we know where furniture and lighting goes and what to work on next. We will definitely be working with them again as we continue working on these and other areas in our home. We truly thank you Dora and Sally, you both have been the bright spots in our long remodel project.

Although my husband is very handy, we knew that redoing our kitchen was not a job for anyone less than an expert. The problem was, we had no idea where or how to begin. However, there were some facts that we knew from the get go. First, that we simply didn't have the time for the details (with work, commutes and small kids). Second that between my hubby and I, a war would have started because the design possibilities are endless and we would have taken months changing our minds. One of us for sure would have regretted making an irreversible decision. Although he was reluctant to hiring designers, i had read that it was the way to go for something as important as a kitchen. So, we started with Houzz who send Dora Brigham Interiors our way. We were relieved that Dora and Sally were willing to work with people who had a smaller budget. We were only looking to update and honestly i thought designers were only accessible and necessary for bigger projects. They were so kind, easy going and professional. Most importantly to us was that they listened. We never felt our ideas were ignored. My hubby actually felt at ease once we hired them as we soon found out the process can be a bit overwhelming even for the handiest of people. They were very transparent with their rates and services upfront so there were no "gotchas" during the project. Our contractors even confirmed that having ALL design decisions solidified upfront made a huge difference in our timeline. That was extremely important as we wanted minimal disruption to our family. Thanks to Dora and Sally for working with us and helping to make it all happen. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone as they are an awesome team.

Dora Brigham Interiors did an amazing job on our remodel project! They created a thoughtful, sophisticated design and saved us through their sage advice and relationship management skills with the contractor and other vendors. We transformed our 1950s kitchen and family room into an contemporary, elegant space that looks beautiful, but still feels warm and inviting. DBI thought through all of our needs with a toddler and our love for cooking and hosting parties. They created wow features – eye-catching color contrasts to a stunning rock crystal chandelier. They designed around our life – creating space I didn’t think existed for better flow and storage. They paid attention to the details – down to the gorgeous handles that are perfect for big and little toddler hands. I would recommend Dora Brigham Interiors 100% on design alone, but it was their support on helping us manage difficult situations with our contractor that compelled me to write this review. I would have been extremely stressed and over budget without their resources and willingness to go above and beyond what some would consider “design” work. They know the industry, they have the “eye,” and they have the resources to help make your design dreams become a reality.

Dora and Sally of DBI were the designers of my renovations in summer 2017 and summer 2018. They are wonderful people and have in-depth knowledge of design and renovation. They remodeled my place from back to front - master (including my walk in closet), hallway, workstation, second bedroom, second bathroom, kitchen, dining room (which incude cofferred ceiling and wainscot), kitchen, livingroom, art work in the garage). They are extremely attentive to details and exceptionally responsive when notified about any problems. You cannot go wrong if you hire DBI for your design and renovation needs! I am sure I will ask them to design and oversee projects in 2019.

My project was a small one and it was great to have Dora and Sally treat it and me as if it were much more. They presented me with many options from which to choose and provided me with some perspectives I wouldn't have considered previously. They knew where to find the furnishings I needed and definitely understood my budget needs. I would certainly call on DBI in the future and would recommend their services to others.

Dora and Sally are wonderful designers. We have been working with them for over twenty-years. Mary (my wife) and I often disagree about things, and we have been continuously amazed how Dora and Sally seem to find really creative and beautiful options, year after year. Their network of vendors has always been quite reliable with respect to both quality and on-time performance. We have made structural, backyard, and design improvements over the years, all with their advice and guidance. And, indeed, we will be continuing that process this year as well. My favorite contribution was a couple of years ago when their living room design provided a brilliant background to our most loved painting. Mary and I would go with six stars, maybe even seven! Dora and Sally are excellent professionals, creative artists, and great people to work with in general.

Dora Brigham worked tirelessly to bring to life the antiques of a long line of heritage within our family while maintaining a sense of our lives relative to where we were at the time with three young children. Our home breathes with warmth while maintaing a vibrancy of liveliness. The history in furniture and artwork placed throughout the home stands proudly amongst a whirlwind of children racing through its hallways laughing as they chase after their own years. We are still in the same home today and 12 years later receive as many compliments as if we had just finished the project.

After seeing the quality of their work at my neighbor's house, I hired Dora Brigham Interiors to provide design services for the exterior and interior of my 1962 home. Dora Brigham Interiors provides two professional interior designers, Dora and Sally, who work as a team in all phases of the design process. They both meet with the clients, are completely familiar with all aspects of the project and are a dynamite duo of creativity and professionalism. Dora and Sally worked well with the general contractor, who also valued their talent, communication skills and their technical knowledge of lighting, building materials and codes. My home improvement project included adding skylights, track lights, heating ducts, two bathroom remodels, renovations to the kitchen, window coverings, modifying cabinets, remodel of free standing fireplace new color throughout and reupholstery or refinishing of existing furniture. The exterior work included replacing wood siding with smooth stucco, adding stone accents, a custom glass cover for the atrium, new hardware, new gate and new garage door. Samples and photos of suggested designs and materials were brought to my home for my evaluation and selection. I was grateful for this service because of the demanding schedule I had at that time and because I liked seeing proposed colors and materials where they would be used. It was a pleasure working with Dora and Sally, who place the client's needs as top priority. I am thrilled with the finished project, which was completed on time and within budget, My newly renovated home is a peaceful retreat where comfort and function were not sacrificed to attain the beauty and charm I also desired. Not only are they incredibly conscientious, creative, professional, accommodating and prompt, the reasons I recommend their services far exceed the standard which most expect in a design service. Here's what I love about them. 1. I know what I want and I have my own design concepts. They don't try to change my opinion or insert their own style. Rather, they are keen to my vision and offer amazing concepts and ideas that fit my original vision but take the design concept to the next level. 2. Not only do they take into consideration the clients Decour preferences but they take into consideration the clients "work preferences". They work with you the way you need them too. For example, I ask only for 1 or 2 options and not 5. Boom! Done. 3. They understand budget. It's rare ...so rare to hire a decorator who doesn't go WAY over budget. This team gets it 4. They are a team! Each member brings different strengths. We never wait on a reply. They handle any "issue" that comes up with lightening speed. 5. Every design is unique. To me it seems many design services really specialize in a particular style of the court. This team truly creates a unique vision each time. 6. Price sensitivity. I have kids and pets. I don't want to spend a fortune on a coach that will take a beating, and I might want to more of my budget to statement or more permanent prices. They get it and don't make you feel "cheap". They get it and they're happy to hell you figure out where your money is best spent! Love that! 7. Super honest. Super trustworthy and they're not in the business for one job. They treat your home and your money as if it were their own because most of their clients are #Lifers ! I whole heartedly recommended Brigham Interiors to my own family members as well. Dora Brigham designed a beautiful traditional home for our family. Our home was transformed from the front entry to the powder room. The most dramatic changes were in the kitchen & family entertainment rooms. What we appreciated most was her creative designs came in on budget. The designs were truly custom & original. She uses excellent work rooms so the quality is top notch! We recently sold our Orange Park Acres home and moved to Laguna Beach. Even though we are now in a very contemporary home we are once again working with Dora. We are delighted to be working with a professional with so much experience. She has quickly helped transform our new home to fit our style with our new contemporary environment.
