Gerry Dougherty began Dougherty Construction more than 20 years ago with the goal of creating beautiful spaces for families to make memories. Drawing from his own family’s values, Gerry and his son Sean are dedicated to ensuring that every customer relationship is built on trust and that every project meets or exceeds expectations. Dougherty Construction works with customers from Carlisle and Hershey to Mechanicsburg and New Cumberland, and is committed to keeping workspaces clean and completing projects on time – just like we’d want for our own families. As founders of a local, family-owned and operated business in Camp Hill, PA, we share the community with you and are committed to the quality and reliability of our work. We wanted to let everyone know about our beautiful new bathroom! Gerry and his crew did such a remarkable job recreating our master bathroom area! Everyone was courteous, respectful of our home and time schedules, professional in their workmanship and experts in their fields! From demo to drywall, installation, paint, tile, electrical plumbing and finish work-every job was done with skill and care. Gerry, your organizational and people skills are beyond compare! Gerry and his team remodeled our bathroom and converted a small kitchen and small dinning room into a beautiful bright dream kitchen !!! They asked what we wanted and designed the new open kitchen to our specifications. Gerry drove me around to several vendors and helped me pick the flooring, back splash, cabinets, counter tops, and lights. The whole team worked hard, we're kind and friendly, and left everything cleaned up each evening. We now have a beautiful open concept kitchen with enough counter space to have baking stations for all of our grandchildren. They all enjoy cooking and doing it themselves !!! : ) Another bonus I love is the laundry closet Gerry built for my new stackable washer and dryer.

The crew was always on time, courteous and willing to listen to our input. We could not be more pleased with the quality of their work. We love our bathroom ! Dougherty did a fantastic job - turning a cold, lifeless cement basement into what is now the most popular room in our house. Gerry will act as project manager, he put together both a budget (which was met) and a timeline (which was followed precisely) finishing the project both on schedule and at budget. Sean, his son, did an excellent job putting the project in motion/coordinating with the building team and dealing with my daily questions and tweaks - using high quality materials and craftsmanship. For example they built beautiful custom shelving underneath our steps straight out of a magazine picture we showed them, no questions asked. The materials they used were above standard "builder grade", leaving the basement with an extra nice finish and feel. One of the most important parts of the project was making sure my family was comfortable with the workers who would be there day after day for 3 months - and Dougherty did an excellent job not waking children or inconveniencing them in any way. You get what you pay for, and Dougherty delivered an A+ result. I would absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend them for your next building project.

We hired Dougherty Construction to turn our ugly basement into a beautiful Colonial tavern. We were not disappointed! Gerry, Sean and crew did a remarkable job for us and we are thrilled with the results! Along with high quality work, they were so easy to have in our home. Pleasant, respectful, reliable....we would hire them again ! The crew even cleaned up at the end of each workday. We could not be happier with our remodeling project! Highly recommend.

Gerry, his son Sean and crew remodeled our kitchen a few years ago and recently upgraded our living room. Gerry is easy to work up front with the initial consultation and with delivering an estimate. Sean led the crew on our jobs for the most part and exhibits great attention to detail which extends to his crew. It is easy to see why Gerry trusts him in this role. The jobs which are contracted out (ex: carpeting, painting, etc.) are performed by people Gerry would trust working in his own home and who provide end results to his standards. If you aren't happy, Gerry will fix it. They are very approachable and accommodating. We are happy with Dougherty Construction and have no problem recommending them to our friends.

This was an extensive remodel project encompassing the laundry room, kitchen and eating area, powder room and entryway. Dougherty worked with flooring subcontractor, countertop & back splash provider, cabinet and plumbing supply house, and electrician to coordinate delivery of materials and all install work. They were very good about getting replacement cabinet doors that were damaged in shipping and making sure all work done met our high standards. They did everything needed to complete the project while staying within the contract budget. Dougherty Construction is a family-run business who take pride in their workmanship; they are friendly, courteous and professional. They arrived each day on time and were very efficient and neat, taking care to protect furniture,flooring and walls not involved in the project. We are very pleased with the way the project turned out and have gotten many great compliments on the completed work.

**Top notch service** We hired Dougherty Construction to finish our basement. It was a big job and they handled it amazingly well. They were on time , honest, smart and hardworking. We receive a ton of compliments on the custom bar they installed . In the future we look forward to hiring them again for further home improvements !
