Jim was a pleasure to deal with. Communication was excellent. I lived in another state during the entire Reno and he made it extremely easy for me His team was also very professional and top notch. I highly recommend. Their work was exceptional.and his prices were very fair. I was able to get top dollar for the sale because of the craftsmanship his team did !!

I had a major project to be done on my house. I needed entire outside wall removed and hired a contractor who did it all wrong. Took me long time to find a trustworthy contractor and I finally run into D & T Builders. Jim Fahey is an excellent contractor/builder. Very professional, reasonable rates and does the work right and in timely manner! His workers were excellent and worked very hard. I was impressed. I am very happy with completed project and I highly recommend Jim and his team! 5***** to D & T Builders!!!! Thank you!

We used D & T Builders for a fairly straight forward but highly visible job; replacing older, failing storm doors at the front and back entrances to our house. The critical part was related to the age of our house, which is a large "Victorian" built in 1868. The "look" of the front entrance is particularly important. Owner, Jim Fahey answered my initial inquiry promptly, took meticulous measurements, ordered the doors immediately and arranged for the installment in a surprisingly short time. He and his assistant, "Steve" undertook the instillation with real professionalism and care for the historic door surrounds they were working with. I readily recommend them to anyone pursuing home repair or improvement. Keith B

Jim and his crew are wonderful! He is reliable,reasonable prices and does great work. He has been working on various jobs for us for 10 years. Most recently he remodeled our kitchen, which has come out great! He does not get flustered when we change scope on him and just helps us with whatever we want done. Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with. We contacted him after our home inspection to take care of some minor issues that were flagged by the buyer. We could not have been more pleased with the work. Jim is responsive and very reasonably priced. He did the work in a timely fashion (we were under the predictable seller's timeline, so it was a tight turnaround), and he was very respectful and personable to work with. His crew was equally as respectable and kind and went out of their way to interact with our (then) 3 month old. We are now in the home buying process and cannot wait to utilize D&T Builders in our new home. We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you!

I had D&T Builders do a large family room renovation for my home that required the installation of a 20' steel beam. They had the beam brought in and installed with a small crane and the job was completed seamlessly and professionally. I'd recommend Jim for any size renovation job as he is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He also completed a whole house renovation on an investment property for us and again the outcome was on time at a competitive price.
