Southern Walker Landscape Design

Jeff and his crew installed a landscape job that he designed and presented to us. We had several options to select from and the cost for each was was clear. We decided on a particular design and requested some minor adjustments which he incorporated and we are very pleased. Jeff is responsive to his phone, email, or text messages, and he does what he says he'll do. Having dealt with him for a couple of years, I can happily recommend his services.

Jeff provided an excellent design and installation of a Prayer and Memorial Garden on our church grounds. It has been a multi-year project with design changes and staged construction to match the time needed to gain sufficient support and resources for the project. Phase 1 is nearing completion. Jeff's design - including a hardscape prayer labyrinth and center cross, the materials provided, and installation matched our needs and complements the existing church building and grounds very well. Jeff's suggestion to add LED lighting provides for a terrific accent to the church itself as well as the new Prayer Garden. HIs installation workforce were a pleasure to work with, were very respectful of our grounds, and have persevered through tough weather conditions. The response from the church membership to the installation has been very positive, and significant interest and positive comments have been received by our church neighbors and others in general. We are excited to be planning the next phase of the project.

I had a problem come up pretty fast, and needed a row of screening trees at the back of my property. Within a few days, the owner, Jeff Walker, came by and went over my needs. He was helpful and professional. But the best part of Southern Walker Landscape Design are the wonderful employees who came, and amazingly and quickly, planted a dozen trees in ground plagued with large roots from established foliage. They were cheerful and went above and beyond. When I asked about watering them, one of them said, "where's you hose," and proceeded to water them. One of the trees was just a little off from where I wanted it, and without flinching, a new hole was dug, and the tree replanted! When I told Jeff I was a little concerned about the trees leaning a little bit, he came and staked them so they would grow nice and straight. You would think I was the most important client in the world! But that's just how Jeff and his employees made me feel. Great company!

Liked the plan a lot. Had a few problems with the lawn and some of the plant selection. Rock work was excellent. Jeff worked with us to solve the plant issues. Like most landscape projects, it’s a work in progress, but headed in the right direction.
