EMK built my custom home in the Clayton area. The interior finish work was impeccable ! I have had several homes built previously and never has a contractor been as cooperative or completed such a beautiful home. Elliot and I worked together on the plans I had to make this house truly my own. His suggestions for interior changes made the flow of the great room, kitchen and dinning area extremely warm and inviting.

We hired EMK Construction to build an addition of a sunroom & patio. It is a 240 square foot sunroom with french doors and three sides of windows. it has a high arch ceiling. the patio was done in stamped concrete and includes a small covered porch area. They did the work on time & always answered my many questions. Although there were a few minor issues, I would eagerly hire them again.

I hired EMK for a huge remodel of my home. Hiring them was a compliment being raised in the construction industry I knew exactly what I wanted. The owner Elliot is trustworthy and respectable. More importantly he only does what he would expect in his own home. A lot of contractors will say this to you. This man lived up to his word, my remodel was a challenge because I am chemically sensitive and I am handicapped. He handled everything with such grace. He started my remodel on time and finished based on my changes. I can not tell you how reassuring it was not to worry who was in my home, or what was happening on site due to the honesty of his team. He would go above and beyond on a daily basis. I have had other contractor friends visit my home and the best compliment they have given is that they can not tell where the old home was and the new home began. When in the world of moving walls and changing roofs this is such a compliment. There are so many choices in the world of contractors but this company really came thru on every detail. Timelessness, pricing, honesty, but most of all caring.

We hired EMK Construction to perform a remodel of basically the entire downstairs of our house. The work included the addition of a covered patio with a built in grill. Elliot and his company were first class to work with. From the beginning of the project to completion, we were very pleased with the quality of the work but more importantly the character of the people involved. We would not hesitate to hire them again. They have always returned our phone calls now that the project is complete, and they have came back to repair a couple of issues since payment was given. We went to see several contractor's work before we started the project, and we only obtained one bid because we were that confident in EMK's work. We have a mutual friend/colleague who is also a contractor. He recommended Elliot to us after we had already decided to use him which further cemented his reputation for us.
