Kate made our house feel more like OUR home. It is a home we are proud to have family and friends visit now! She has such a vision and could easily take the mishmosh of items I like, add a few updated items, and make our home a beautiful space. We love it!

I have worked with Kate with both my former and current homes. She has the ability to quickly get a feel for tastes and values and design a vision that fits! She has recommended colors and furniture that I would never have come up with on my own and once the work is done everything looks perfect. My home is comfortable as well as a place to entertain. She is conscientious of the budget and is able to find quality furniture and accessories to fit. Her schedule is flexible and she is quick to respond to email/text/phone calls.

Kate guided me through the selection process of buying furniture for my great room. I had some ideas in my mind, but was not sure exactly what I wanted nor what layout for the furniture. I ended up going with a different furniture / fabric selection than what I originally had in my mind. The project was perfect. I gets lots of complements on my great room. Kate was a lot of fun to work with on the project. I would definitely hire again or refer her to friends.

We hired Kate for a very large, 2-story, top-to-bottom home remodel. The entire project took 7 months to complete and we could not be more pleased with the results! She was very pleasant to work with, listened to what we wanted to accomplish and stayed on task throughout. Kate chose the color scheme for the entire house and made sure it flowed from one room to the other while giving each space its own character. She had invaluable knowledge of contacts and resources for options with flooring, tile, fixtures, furniture, paint, wall and window coverings. (Debbie Anderson of Decorating Details provided gorgeous window treatments!) I felt very comfortable using products she was well acquainted with and she willingly researched new products to consider. She helped us make sound choices and we valued her judgement. Kate has a keen design style and made our home comfortable yet beautifully refreshed. She had input on every aspect of the remodel and worked seamlessly with each vendor and our General Contractor. She was continually in communication with us and everyone involved with the project. She always considered all options to stay mindful of our budget. It took me over a year to find the best Interior Designer for this project. Interior Enhancements was absolutely the right choice!

Kate McCarthy of Interior Enhancements and Debbie Anderson of Decorating details were a dream to work with. They came into my home and asked all the right questions to get to know me and my style. Kate and Debbie met with me and brought ideas and swatches of materials for me to view and imagine what would look best in my home. As a team they addressed the fact that I wanted everything in my open concept main level to coordinate from room to room while adding some color, texture, and interest. I needed help with making everything flow and feel finished. I know what I like, but just needed some help putting it all together. They ordered quality furniture that was more to scale for my house. They found unique pieces that you don't find just anywhere. They also finished my home off with placed art, mirrors, and accessories when all the furniture had been delivered to put the finishing touches on my home! Kate is a wonderful designer that I would highly recommend to anyone. She asks for your ideas, likes/dislikes, budget, and can go from there. I'm not good with colors or furniture styles, so Kate put together different options to help the decision process. I asked her to incorporate some existing furnishings, and artwork into the new great room design, and she did an overall fabulous job. When asked, she even pushed me alittle out of my comfort zone, which I am so grateful. Kate can see and describe her vision of the area, and can execute it flawlessly. I was so impressed, I asked her to extend her contract into the entry, and she made old and new areas tie together seamlessly. Kate always has a can do attitude, and worked quickly and tirelessly to complete the job. I will hire Kate again for future decorating projects.

We worked with Kate from Interior Enhancements to replace or repurpose some furniture and accessories in our condo. We have lived in the condo for 4 years and after it was repainted, we wanted to finish some decorating projects and update some of the accessories we had purchased when we moved in. Kate helped us with our furniture arrangement in the main living areas of our upper and lower levels and located new lighting, window coverings, shelving and other accessories. The changes gave our home a fresh look which was more compatible with our lifestyle. We enjoyed working with Kate and the fresh insight she provided. She helped us rearrange some furniture and avoid the cost of replacing it altogether. On several occasions, she brought new items for us to try out in the actual space for a few days which was very helpful. We had struggled with the choice of window coverings for our lower level and she provided a great resource for that project. She was very professional and patient with us when we had trouble making decisions and we are very pleased with the changes made through this process.
