Matt Lehn Construction is pretty well known in our area and has a solid reputation for doing remarkable home renovations, beautiful kitchens and baths and so on. However, they are also known for their superior custom cabinets and furniture. Although my project was small regarding custom rustic farm style furniture, they still treated me as if I was their most important customer (a rare trait nowadays). Their work is phenomenal as they’re clearly masters at their craft and I truly love EVERYTHING they made for me. I think the best bragging part about the entire team at Matt Lehn Construction that I have apart from their obvious talent and pride in what they do; is they sincerely cared about what I wanted and their hometown friendliness and stewardship is truly unmatched in their industry. I’ve already requested to be in their queue early next year for my next project.

We had a very large project and weren’t in the area yet, making it a bit more challenging. Everyone we worked with at Matt Lehn Construction was helpful, kind, professional, and gave us our dream home! We bought an original 1960s ranch near Milwaukee WI while living in southern CA. We knew we wanted to open it up, have our dream kitchen and create a new master suite. We found Matt Lehn Construction through Houzz. We talked to and “interviewed” several companies (from the Houzz list). We needed a company that could do it all, from design to install! Talking and emailing with Steve from Matt Lehn Construction, they stood out far and above from the others. Their work portfolio (let’s be honest I stalked their website and Houzz link), professionalism, and clear communication, sold us! From the very very beginning we knew what the next steps were and had a good idea of the big picture. Working with them from CA, was not a problem. We created Houzz idea books (with tons of pictures) to easily share our style, wish lists, and hopes with Matt and Steve. We stayed in constant communication and had several live video meetings, where we looked over plans and saw 3D renderings. Matt was very creative, accommodating and flexible working with our wish list as well as budget. The whole process was fun and exciting! The time line for work was clearly laid out. They even sent us weekly pictures of progress before we moved. The great communication stayed open through demo and construction. Once we were closer and dropped in on the crew regularly, it was clear how kind and caring everyone was! Doug was our job site construction manager and took great care of ALL the details! He was also wonderful to work with! Weekly meetings on site started once painting and finishing work were about to begin. Again, the communication made for an exciting process. The amount of decisions that need to be made can be completely overwhelming (and exhausting) but Matt, Steve, and Doug helped as much as possible offering lots of advice and support, but also allowing us to express ourselves. Matt epitomizes the phrase, calm, cool, and collected. He was always there to answer our questions, was clear and honest and made us feel that every detail was being looked after and taken care of. We are thrilled with the end results! We are living in our dream home. We highly recommend them for any project large or small and look forward to working with them in the future!

This was my first remodel project. I was very fortunate to find Matt Lehn Construction to do my master bath renovation. I had a vision and they exceeded my expectations. Their carpentry work is stunning and they pay attention to every detail. When first meeting with Matt and Steve, they walked me through the process and made me feel confident they were right for the job. Steve will keep you informed throughout the process and will meet with you weekly. The whole team was very polite, cordial and without interference with my day. (They are even good with my kids which is always a plus!) I will be using them for my next project.

Matt Lehn Construction did an amazing job transforming our basement from a concrete jungle to a beautiful and fully functioning additional level of our house. The team was professional, thorough and highly collaborative throughout the process. Their quality of work is second to none!

They did an awesome job on our new kitchen, new floors in the dining room and livingroom, new bannister in the foyer, downstairs and upstairs bathrooms and the master walk in closet. Our plumbing was in horrible shape so this morphed into a larger project than originally intended. Everything was dealt with efficiently even the problems encountered were handled well. Friendly, reliable staff, always willing to lend a hand. Great job. Love the cabinets they made.

Very reasonable price for the work that they did. Their employees are all very pleasant, careful, and pay attention to detail. It is clear that they want to make you happy with their work instead of just getting the job finished.

Matt Lehn built a four-season sunroom off of our kitchen. It has a beautiful slate floor, windows on three sides and a beautiful wood plank ceiling. We have a composite deck with a cable railing. Rverybody loves it -- they think it's so beautiful. It's very well-made. The workers cleaned up the area completely and were very easy to work with.

We are very pleased with the way the basement turned out! Matt, Patrick and the rest of their crew were very easy to work with throughout the process. The quality of their work is top notch, just as it was when they built our Trex deck a couple of years ago. I would recommend them for any project, whether it be indoor or outdoor home improvement.

Matt Lehn and his crew did an outstanding job on our great room remodeling project. He definitely exceeded our expectations. We wanted a more open concept, which we achieved by removing two load-bearing walls that separated our great room from a hallway and kitchenette. Matt's team was professional, knowledgeable, polite and extremely neat. The project was finished on time and on budget. We will definitely use Matt Lehn Construction for our next project.
