Building our home was an arduous project, but we had a few shining stars. The Cabinet Design Studio at Forest Millwork was one of them. We found Amanda and the entire staff to be professional, skilled at design, efficient, organized, kind and patient. Amanda provided us with our desired design, quality cabinet and budget. The deadlines were met, in fact, they had to store the cabinets while the builder worked to provide her the finished space in order to complete the installation. Also, the installers were professional, talented and tidy. Not often do tradesmen bear all these qualities. As with most home projects there are hiccups. Our 1 hiccup was resolved with concern and efficiency, as well as, to our satisfaction. Our experience with Amanda was delightful. She wanted us to be happy with our Kitchen, Master Bath and Dressing area, Laundry and Apartment Kitchen. We are thrilled.

Wonderful company to work with. Amanda was generous with her time and ideas for our large kitchen addition as well as repurposing our old kitchen cabinets into our new laundry room. Choosing Forest Millwork from a pool of cabinet design companies in Asheville was one of the best decisions made when I was in the early stages of restoring my 100 year old historic home. My kitchen was gutted and went from being the ugliest duckling to something functional and unique. The process began with the designer who created a kitchen based on my wishes but incorporating creative elements that i never dreamed of. She had so many great ideas and working with her was a joy. The process ended almost 8 months latter with the installer who was perfectionistic in the best sense of the term. He saw our dream through to reality, installing cabinets that were more like furniture than cabinets and doing meticulous measurements to get all of the hardware just right. All of the professionals at Forest Millwork worked well with other professionals on the project. My only issue was the time it took from ordering the custom cabinets to getting them installed which was about 7 weeks. But that was a small price to pay for an incredible kitchen.

We spent the last year working with Leslie at FMI. She was always available and knew her stuff. We ended up leaning on her for more of the design than we initially thought we would. She had some great ideas that we incorporated. She was flexible and patient with us as well as helpful with pointing us in the right direction for cabinetry and hardware selections. Our project took a great deal of time as we weren't always in the area to make decisions. FMI, Leslie and our installer Ken did a great job.

Great company to work with Leslie Christoffel was very professional and patient with us We got great design services and some suggestions that made the plan more workable I am very pleased with the service and products- We had a few minor issues that were handled promptly and to our satisfaction

Attention to detail beyond description! Masterful craftsmanship of cabinets made in house! Flow, design and efficient layout that captured client wishes while enhancing the final product. Customer service during project design, completion and punch list was top-notch.

I have known Forest Millwork for many years. During this time I have had many projects built by their talented group of craftsmen. As an architect I have used them in the design portion of the project to try to maintain the budget where restricted and have also used them as a resource as to solve difficult design problems. They are very knowledgeable about wood species and stain and finish qualities. I am very particular about the completed product and have never had an issue with any of the final installations. What I appreciate about their approach is that they also care about the final product and want to make sure that the client is totally satisfied as well. Their shop drawings are very comprehensive and complete. I would not hesitate to recommend their work to a potential client.
