Sarah and the Fusion Interiors team were a pleasure to work with and I would certainly recommend their work. In our new home, my husband and I were a bit intimidated by the open floor plan "Great Room" we had to fill. How would we turn the dining area / living area / office area into something aesthetically pleasing yet functional, and coordinated yet unique? Enter Fusion Interiors. Sarah and her team helped us nail down the "transitional" style we were seeking and ensured the pieces we chose were both comfortable and functional. Before jumping into the design, Sarah spent time getting to know us as people to understand how we would use the space. Then from design to delivery, Sarah and her team were always professional, responsive, open to our input, and effectively communicated timelines.

Could not be happier with our new home! Working with Sarah was effortless and fun. She has excellent taste. She is creative and took the time to learn about our likes and dislikes. She was conscientious about cost saving as well which we appreciated. We live out of town and appreciated having her local Support throughout the design process. She is detail oriented, professional and truly a pleasure to work with.

Sarah at Fusion Interiors was wonderful to work with on our remodel project. She responded quickly to my request in Houzz. Sarah's initial call to me described her work ethic, prices, and timelines of her availability which was so important during this difficult time of trying to keep a project on schedule. Sarah arranged appointments with several local vendors to help us walk through design ideas and getting products picked and ordered. She has great established relationships with several vendors which was reassuring. Sarah really listened to our wants and desires helping us stretch out of our comfort zone and suggested several different design ideas. She kept our project on schedule as best she could due to delays on products and resources. Sarah was a pleasure to walk along with us on our remodel and we love our end product!

Sarah Sumner at Fusion Interiors assisted us in a complete renovation of a 25-year old, 4,000 sq. ft. home-- with a fantastic view. Sarah used that view, as well as our tastes in design and aesthetics as a theme in her recommendations. We are extremely pleased with the results. Importantly, Sarah made the process both enjoyable and a learning experience. She is a consummate professional. When we started the renovation, Sarah spent time with us to understand our tastes (a mix of Southwest US and Scandinavian-modern) and incorporated that understanding into all of the options she presented to us and in her recommendations. We often commented during the process how well she seemed to know what we would like, and Sarah saved us countless hours in deciding on and selecting fixtures, appliances, and construction materials. On the rare occasion when we were not particularly keen with an option or recommendation, she cheerfully went 'back to the drawing board' and came back with revised or additional options to consider. Sarah kept us, and the many suppliers and vendors, on schedule and on track over the course of a year. She worked seamlessly with our (also fantastic) contractor to assure that our ideas and vision were implemented into an old house- - which became a gorgeous new home. After she completed her services in interior design, Sarah has helped us with some wonderful new furnishings—window coverings, furniture, and rugs. We would heartily recommend Sarah to anyone seeking experienced, knowledgeable, creative and very talented assistance in designing or renovating a home in Southwest Colorado.

I was worried about the choices I was presented with. I, however, am admittedly not good at this sort of thing. Even knowing that I still pushed back hard. Sara assured me and my real estate agent also agreed with her. I got more options and went with her original. I was very reluctant to spend 10's of thousands of dollars on a paint job that I could not see the vision of. I did it on faith. Let me just say that I was so happy I did. Sarah Sumner did a great job and I was very lucky to have her and very lucky she told me (with conviction) that it would look great. This review would be much different if it did not come out so very well. Thanks Sara, the house is beautiful inside and out. If it were up to me, it would have been ugly! I have known Sarah Sumner for 4 years. She is so easy to work with. She has excellent ideas and creates beautiful interiors. Our first project was a guest house built primarily for my daughter and her family when they visit. It is beautiful. The next project was my master bath in the main house. It needed a serious remodel. Our latest project is the kitchen in the main house. I can’t wait for it to be finished! Sarah was great! She worked with 3 siblings, who live out of town, on a vacation home. She was able to incorporate all of our different tastes into a wonderful end product. She helped us stay within our budget. Her professionalism and knowledge allowed us to feel comfortable working on the project from a distance and finish on time. We worked with Sarah on several projects and were quite pleased with the outcomes. She has a great sense of color and texture and an strong knowledge of how to source furniture in a somewhat remote location. She also has connections to quality trades people and subcontractors.

As a Design/Builder of custom homes in the Durango, CO area, I have been fortunate to work with Sarah of Fusion Interiors on various jobs, from interior design consultations, staging, window coverings, etc. Sarah is a true professional...knowledgeable, attention to detail, prompt, and pleasant to do business with. My clients have always had a good experience working with her as well. Sarah is the only interior designer I know who is LEED accredited, which is important when specifying products that will not cause the client health issues, and that are environmentally responsible. Sarah has earned a great reputation in the Durango area. You can't go wrong when you work with Sarah.

Sarah was very responsive initially and also quickly got the staging in place. The house looked beautiful and became a warm home. She was very instrumental in getting us the price that our house deserved. We feel her staging talents lifted that house up into an entirely different orbit. She is very professional and knowledgeable. My son and I are very grateful for her help.
