GDC Builders did a complete remodel of my kitchen. Not only was the work completed in the estimated amount of time, the final cost was under budget, And their crew was clean, courteous and fun to have around.

GDC Builders had already been hired to work on the renovation of a home that we had just closed escrow on when we discovered undisclosed water damage and toxic mold in a number of areas of the house. Gil and the team were excellent partners through this very challenging time. We appreciate GDC’s excellent craftsmanship and outstanding customer service, but we are most grateful for their integrity. Gil and his team very capably walked us through the process of mitigation and repairs all while doing the originally scheduled renovations. We love the work that they did and enthusiastically recommend them for home renovations large and small.

GDC Builders did a great job on my kitchen remodel. Very subjective on giving them 4 stars instead of five. Not everything was perfect, but I have no complaints. All of their workers were professional and skilled.

Initially we were big fans of GDC but in the end, we were not happy with several matters that involved our existing alarm system’s points not being dropped down into our new doors and windows costing us a $5000 ADT new install, and a hot water heater that was moved outside and not properly insulated until after it badly burned our dog and got a $1900 vet bill. We were then told we had to buy a whole new hot water heater because ours was never supposed to be moved outside. We also ordered stained wood interior doors and got stuck with painted white interior doors. GDC managed a large construction project and ultimately the work was beautiful, but after move in is when matters came to surface and they didn’t make good on several issues like these. We were left holding the buck. We’d never work with them again.

Gil took over a disaster in the making from a non-performing contractor. He very quickly made an assessment of what needed to be done, got up to speed with the city and got the work crews to the site with-in days. He saved the job and helped us get the project done in a timely manner and within budget. Very straight forward, honest and hard working. No surprises.

We hired GDC to take down the old, worn-out railing on our balcony and build/paint new railing. Gil was great and his crew did an excellent job. They were prompt, thorough, and very professional. I was very glad we hired Gilberto Design and Construction and I highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on their home.
