Glee Sides, allied member ASID, began her career over 30 years ago after graduating from Auburn University. She pursued her career in interior design by training in New York while working side by side with designer and architect, Allison Bailey. Inspired by her late mentor, Glee knows that a good design is about happy clients. After seven years of studying under Bailey, she had aspirations of venturing out on her own in her hometown of Decatur, AL. From the back porch of her father’s childhood home to a restored building on Bank St, Glee Interiors has been thriving since the inception in 1986. During her career, Glee has had clients stretching from New York to the Bay Islands with projects including vacation homes, boats, residential and commercial spaces. Her work reflects a lasting commitment to sustainability and the confidence that interior design is one of the most powerful tools to expresses the client’s dreams. Glee Sides has built this successful practice based on one simple theme, “We continuously deliver a unique and distinctive style based on the needs of the client.” Whether commercial or residential, large of small, this theme defines the essence of Glee Interiors. Sides has a knack for selecting very special and unusual items for the showroom that always seems to sell soon after arrival.
