Green Calstate Construction

Prior to choosing Green Calstate Construction., I had spoken to 2 other contractors who were referred to me. I never heard from one of them again and I was questionable as to the other contractor so after much frustration, I decided to research Angies List and fell upon Preferred Green Calstate construction. Project is ADU Garage conversions. The team is wonderful.Tom was my main point of contact and he is exceptional and genuine...not a pushy sales guy. Steph handles the administrative part of the project schedule, keeps things organized and pushes the project along. The subcontractors who are the "boots on the ground" and who do the actual work are great. The entire team is punctual, highly responsive, professional and will go above and beyond to work with me on issues, schedule, costs and will offer practical and cost effective solutions. We ran into a variety of unexpected issues but through it all, I appreciate that the Preferred Green Calstate Construction . team was patient and worked with me through it every step of the way. I intend on working with the team again in the future. In fact, I've also highly recommended them to my coworkers, family and friends.

.I called several foundation repair companies that I found on yelp. Green cal state construction was the only company that answered by phone call and answered my questions on the spot. Ron was most helpful in all phases of the work. He provided me with a reasonable quote, addressed all of my questions and scheduled my work within a week to meet my tight timeframe. Ron was always patient, courteous, and responsive. I highly recommend Ron and Green Calstate construction for your foundation repairs.

Crew are top notch. He came recommended by a friend in the real estate business so I knew he would be reputable. We dormered the roof and added 4 rooms and a bathroom in the loft area. His estimate of time was spot on. The work was quality. The price was good also. Green CalState Construction is easy to deal with and I would recommend him for any project big or small. He accommodated the uniqueness of our project also. Being off grid and out on a dirt road in the mountains was no issue for him or his crew.

Green CalState Construction team remodeled my kitchen. I had high expectations and they fully exceeded them. I work from home and was in one half of the house while they worked in the other half. They were extremely respectful and made a consistent effort to keep dust and debris from entering my work space. That's in addition to them doing great work, on budget, and on schedule. My favorite things about Green CalState Construction: 1. Their work was excellent. They have great attention to detail. 2. Full-time project managers were on top of every tile supplier, subcontractor, possible conflict, etc. so that I didn't have to worry about anything delaying the project. They picked everything up and delivered it to the house for me. 3. They have discounts with various suppliers that they passed on to me, saving me thousands of dollars. 4. They didn't exceed their initial estimate. 5. They completed the project on schedule. What more could you want?

Today we met again with him, a Project Manager for Green CalState Construction, this time to sign a contract to use them for our full-home renovation. Several details of the meeting confirmed that we have chosen the right company and project manager for this job. He first reviewed the scope of the job, walking through our house with us again, asking questions, listening to our ideas and preferences, and suggesting a few options to address functional problems that concerned us. Following that, he thoroughly prepared us for what to expect. He first covered cost estimates, breaking it down in detail, then moved on to a description of the phases of the project; the approximate timeline, what would occur in that phase, and who would be working with us. This company is very well-organized. Charts allow us to record details of our selection of items needed for a particular room. Other forms provide contact info for suppliers or cover in writing the scope, stages, and payment schedule that he had reviewed with us, in addition to a copy of the contract and a packet containing copies of contractors license, contractors license detail, and certificate of liability insurance. At our first meeting when him came to bid for the job, he had covered other details, including time expectations for the return of calls or emails to him , and job site policy to address neighbors concerns. 2 thumbs up!!!

We were very satisfied with the services provided by this company. This went as smoothly as a renovation service can go - from the first meeting with estimator to discuss our goals and budget for the renovation to the execution, led by project manager, who was excellent. We had several revisions to the project along the way and they were always very accommodating and responsive. The commercial contractors that worked at our house were not only competent, but also trustworthy. We still have some work to do at the house and look forward to hiring them again.

From the start, we spoke with several commercial contractors. And they came out and spent more time in helping gather facts to provide a more solid estimate. This was one factor in our decision to go with them. We spent a good amount of time narrowing down the details to get to a final quote. We made some personal choices that might have been different than others would choose. We were provided an overall timeline which to me felt optimistic. The project started as scheduled and moved quickly. Every day was something new. In the end the project was completed on time. And, equally important is that the quality didn't suffer for the schedule.

Can't recommend working with these guys enough. They are very professional, communicative, speedy. The job involved major structural changes to the kitchen and bathroom, including removing walls. Thanks Green Calstate Construction and team.

This review is long overdue. My husband and I got bids from three different companies before we came across Green CalState Construction and we are SO PLEASED that we hired them! We needed 26 windows including sliding doors replaced in our home. Starting with the bid that he came and gave us he was so friendly, professional, straight shooter and actually took the time to explain and walk me through what exactly would be done to each window. As younger, first time homeowners we felt that he truly respected our wishes and helped educate us on different types of windows and what he suggested would work best for our home. We truly feel that they went above and beyond and we are so in love with our new windows, they look beautiful and the quality of work is magnificent. Not to mention they completed everything in under 5 days. Thank you Green CalState Construction!

Best construction experience! The quote was laid out and easy to understand. I received 3 quotes for the project. Every quote was around the same number, but this was the only construction company that laid out the work to fit the budget. This made me very optimistic that we would stay on budget and we did! They are extremely professional. Everyone did a great job! This was my first construction project and he was very helpful to recommend places to go for materials and set reasonable expectations.

If you are looking for a trustworthy and highly experienced company, I urge you to contact these guys! My wife and I decided to update our bathroom and expand it. This amazing and credible company helped us build the bathroom our dreams and bring it all to life! Thank you to Ron and his amazing team, we honestly couldn’t be any happier!
