About Us

We are a small, design-build landscape company specializing in naturalized water features and unique, eye catching designs. Having worked in the industry for 18 years and as Green Hill Landscaping since 2003, we pride ourselves as leaders in water feature creativity and installation, combining state-of-the-art techniques with the highest quality materials. Concentrating on one project at a time, each design unfolds into the landscape seamlessly from start to finish as we work closely alongside our clients to make their dreams come true. Unlike most landscapers in the area, Green Hill is more than just a guy and a truck. And beyond that, we aren't a huge operation with a dozen crews just trying to take as much work as possible, even if we don't specialize in it. We have five full time employees, heavy machinery, an office off Poinsett Highway, and the experience and connections needed to complete everything from a small koi pond up to a quarter million-dollar dream backyard.

Joe Z. and his crew did a masterful job of taking a pitiful water feature and turning it into a beautiful focal point at my home. He and his crew were straight forward, went to work within days, and completed the task in a day and a half. Joe Z. has an eye for creating beautiful landscape, water features, etc. It is a pleasure having worked with a company that is professional in every aspect. Green Hill Landscaping provides quality for a reasonable price. I learned the hard way, "you get what you pay for". No more short cuts for me.

We first learned about Green Hill Landscaping when they did a project for a neighbor. We were impressed, and began working with Pam and Joe to update our front yard gardens, which had become quite overgrown with 30+ year old plantings. The plan evolved beautifully through discussion and considering different ideas. Ultimately we added two rock retaining walls to better define the gardens in the area which sloped quite a bit. We have received numerous compliments from our neighbors on how great the yard now looks. Later, we decided to update the back yard - which we see more, and spend more time in - and added a wonderful water feature with lighting, new plantings, and some re-arrangement of existing materials. The yard is so relaxing to sit and listen to the water spilling over the waterfall! Everyone one the crew was very hardworking and professional, and pleasant to work with!

We worked with Joe and Pam to design and install a koi pond and landscaping around the pond. They were a pleasure to work with, responsive to the initial request for proposal and questions as they came up along the way to project completion. We are very pleased with the end result in terms of the beauty of the pond area and the value of the work done.

Green Hill Landscaping does fantastic work. They are very professional, focused on doing the best job they can. The designs are very artistic and one of a kind. You can tell that a lot of time and attention goes into the landscape designs, and that carries on through out the entire project. Highly recommend Green Hill!

We used Green Hill for the initial design of our backyard and also the actual work done. We liked their creative design and they gave us options that we would never had considered. Our job involved several half-moon shaped stacked stone walls; stone steps up a hill; a stone bench; water feature; four or five small trees; significant irrigation work; and tons of plants and ground cover. The entire job was quoted at about $13,500 and ended up about $16,000 with additional irrigation work, new irrigation control panel, and stump removal. I would say they are towards the upper range for pricing. Additional labor cost is about $50 per hour. Joe requests written change orders which I totally agree with and he knows how to run his business. Joe delivered everything he promised; started on time; did excellent work with attention to detail; and his crew were very good at their jobs. We will talk with them again about further yard work we need to do in the future.

Greenhill Landscaping is wonderful to work with! They truely have very unique ideas. Even on a budget they were able to design and provide fresh ideas into my yard. I also liked that they worked throughout the duration of being at my house and did not delay. I have experienced other companies that do not communicate well at all but Greenhill does a good job of that.
