I had the pleasure of working with Kathleen twice in 2020. To say that she is talented is an understatement. Kathleen has an incredible hand, very skilled and she is professional, punctual, talented and a lot of fun to work with. She was able to interpret my ideas and make them a reality. On the first project we created an orchard of Lemon Trees.....and the second we had to copy a discontinued paper by De Gourney. In both instances she delivered beautifully. Kathleen is also very meticulous and kept her work area very neat during the period that she spent on the job sites. She provided many samples for approval before she began and was still able to change gears mid project when a client had some changes that she wanted. I love working with Kathleen and look forward to our next project, whatever that might be!

Last year, when I was building my own house, Gurchie Designs finished 4 spaces in my house and people still do double takes when they see her work. Kathleen is the very best there is. She is extremely talented and diversified in all areas of Venetian Plaster, from wabi sabi, to classic textures, and her decorative painting and mural work is astounding. I highly recommend Kathleen for your next project, not only is she a pleasure to work with, but her work speaks for itself.

Kathy is one of the most talented artist/painters I have ever worked with. I have so much faith in her that I just told her to walk into the space, get her own inspiration and just do what she thought would look best, and boy was i Blown Away. Gurchie Design has done work for my company for over 20 years. Kathleen is one of the most talented and respected artists in the field today. She has worked on numerous high profile projects over the years such as the Boat House in Central Park, and the Historial Hendricks Tavern in Roslyn, NY. The most resent project, 70 Charlton Street, is a high end residential building in which she completed the beautiful Venetian Plaster throughout the main lobby. These are just a few of the many projects that she has completed while working with our company. Kathleen's artistic abilities are unprecedented and her talent to create dynamic works of art using different mediums will leave you amazed. I cannot imagine working with anyone else, as she has exceeded our expectations time and time again.

Kathleen is extremely talented, she is professional and so accommodating. I had an issue with new wall covering, which I was considering removing...Kathleen enhanced the paper to give it more dimension, a perfect solution.
