My husband and I hired Holly Bender Interiors to help with the daunting task of building/decorating our new construction. Holly has been indispensable. I’m the type of person who “knows what I like” but lacked any clue of how to pull a room together, never mind a whole house. That’s where Holly came in. She guided us through everything – tile, plumbing fixtures, flooring, lighting, etc. – making what felt like an overwhelming project much easier to manage. Holly is truly a pleasure to work with! Not only does she have an enviable sense of style, but she’s also very resourceful, with knowledge of high end products as well as more economical/practical ones. She’s very aware of what needs to be functional and/or comfortable vs just stylish and always manages to find the perfect balance. She’s very professional, yet easy-going and fun. Holly is intuitive - she got a feel for what we liked immediately and helped our style evolve. And she’s not pushy – there’s no pressure to purchase anything you don’t love. Holly is very respectful of her clients’ time and is always prompt. She’s very flexible with scheduling. More than once she “popped over” at a moments notice to give me an opinion on something, or took time out of her weekend to help us out. We’re now in our house and still have many decisions to make with regards to furniture and accessories, but we couldn’t be happier with how our house has turned out so far!! We owe much of that to Holly and her exceptional work. I look forward to finishing our home with her expert guidance and I highly recommend her.

I have been working with Holly Bender for over a year on what has grown into a complete remodel / refurnishing of our home. We initially hired her to help us remodel our bathrooms. She did such a fabulous job that we decided to hire her to handle the entire project Holly carefully listened to our objectives and helped us achieve our goals. Our home felt dark and outdated. I asked her to make it light, bright and fun, which she was able to do. In terms of Holly’s style, she is hardworking, professional and most importantly fun, which was not easy given the size, scope and complexity of our project. Holly assisted us through the entire process, including helping us build a wonderful team. In addition to efficiently managing our project, Holly has an eye for detail and is extremely creative, which she demonstrated on a daily basis as she worked with me on everything from selecting tile, fabrics for drapes and chairs, to cabinet design, etc. Holly and her team also were very responsive. If we had a question or concern, we received a prompt response. As problems arose, which they undoubtedly do in any construction project, she adeptly dealt with them and was able to get the project back on track quickly. As a result, she really took a lot of the stress out of the entire process for me. Holly also did a great job of listening and observing what we needed as clients and custom fit her services to meet our needs. After spending many hours with Holly on all aspects of our project, I can say with confidence that Holly and her team are absolutely amazing! Our remodel has exceeded our expectations and we attribute this outcome to the efforts of Holly and her team.

Holly's ability to understand a family's personality and needs is unique. While I have worked with a few interior designers over the years, I have been so impressed with Holly for this reason. She is extremely professional but also approachable and fun. I love how her fresh/modern/contemporary style has breathed new life into important spaces in our home and also love how excited everyone has been by her changes. I have been working with Holly for roughly one year. She has transformed our living space into a welcoming environment that is reflective of both my husband and my personalities. I've worked with Holly Bender on several occasions, photographing her finished projects. I work with many interior designers, but Holly's work stands out because it's so complete. There are never any discordant notes that have to be avoided or "fixed" later - every room she does is perfect, from top to bottom - no excuses, just fine design. And -- she's really great to work with!

Holly is such a pleasure to work with and a consummate professional. I hired her to help me decorate my newly-purchased modern home. So far, she's designed my living room, entry, home office, kitchen, family room and master bedroom. I'm in love with the results! Holly is so skilled at balancing high style with the need for practical, comfortable design that is realistic for my family and how we like to live. She's been respectful of my mid-range budget by mixing more affordable, Room & Board-type pieces with one-of-a kind and vintage elements (and a few well-chosen splurges) that give the house tons of style and a look all its own. Since my previous homes have been fairly traditional in style, this has been a pretty top-to-bottom job where I've wanted to change out almost all my furnishings. Such a big and open-ended project could have dragged on forever and cost a fortune in professional time, but Holly was great at efficiently honing in on my taste preferences (we used Pinterest a lot to share ideas) and developing a design concept for the whole house. I've never worked with an interior designer before, so Holly was also good at communicating the process and costs in an above-board and transparent manner which I appreciate. While Holly is invested in her designs and passionate about what she does, I never felt pressured to go with anything that I didn't love. She backed off quickly when something didn't grab me (which wasn't often) and was always respectful of my tastes and opinions, which made the process fun and positive. While I could never have designed my house so well on my own, I also don't feel like I'm a visitor in it; the look and feel is all mine--just a whole lot better!

Holly has been great to work with. She was referred to us through a friend. We've worked with decorators before but always struggled finding one who understood our style, stage of our life (little kids...) and kept that within our budget. Holly did a great job balancing all of our needs and decorating our house. It's stylish, sophisticated yet completely kid friendly. Holly helped us turn our house into a home. We had a large house to furnish including a movie room and she pulled everything together beautifully. She listens, is patient, and is very thoughtful of time. We had a holiday party recently and we received several comments on how beautiful our furniture/accessories looked. I would highly recommend Holly!

Holly Bender is a wonderful designer and so easy to work with..She has boundless energy, and creative ideas. When you ask Holly to do something, she does it right away. She will always keep your budget in mind. She helped me with a renovation of a property and also with furniture design for an apartment. I hired Holly Bender Interiors to renovate my kids' bathroom, which also happens to be my guest bathroom. So to say it gets a lot of traffic is an understatement. My top priorities - beyond great design and expertise - were to work with someone who was 1. professional 2. stayed on budget and 3. kept to a timeline Holly Bender Interiors met and exceeded each of these goals. I would highly, highly recommend this design firm. My new bathroom is now my most favorite room in my house!
