We hired Kelly to rescue and complete a large kitchen remodel, after we were forced to fire the general contractor. Kelly Lems with Homeworks has truly spoiled this residential designer! I have used several contractors in the 20 years I have been designing and Kelly is one of the best. Kelly is detailed and the most organized contractor I have ever had the pleasure to work with! She works as a project manager and has a pool of subcontractors that she continually work with. Because she does not have them on her pay roll, she can keep her overhead costs down to a minimal yet still have the loyalty of her awesome subcontractors. When I hand over a project to Kelly I know that she will take it and create something wonderful from it. Our clients get a great deal on costs and do not have to worry. I am amazed at how smoothly the remodel of our 3 bathrooms has gone under Kelly's supervision. I was worried at first because I'd never worked with a firm like Homeworks. It turned out to be the perfect decision. I loved having a single point of contact for all of my questions - whether it be plumbing, tile, electrics, carpentry. As usual there were a few hiccups - but all were resolved easily. Kelly's experience kept the schedule on time and under budget. Her contractors showed up on time, were pleasant, cleaned up when they were done. Kelly's organization and attention to detail removed all the stress of remodeling for me and got me 3 great new bathrooms - I would hire her again and recommend her highly.
