Working with Lia is always a pleasure. She takes such good care of her customers, making sure their wants and needs are met with every renovation. I enjoy working with such an organized and timely designer.

We stopped in House Splendid to look at knobs and pulls for cabinets in our new home and were pleasantly surprised to find an extensive selection to choose from. Lia and Andrea were extremely helpful in planning and organizing. They marked up drawings of each room so that we could get a visual of what we selected, then when everything came in they separated it all into bags, labeled with what was in each bag and where every piece was to be installed. We highly recommend them if you're looking for cabinet hardware along with excellent customer service.

House Splendid was our clear choice for the design and contracting for our kitchen renovation. We live in a 1920's vintage home with a limited space for the kitchen redesign. Lia provided design advice and options that maximized our use of the space. She did so with a subtle touch that provided a very modern kitchen that was seamlessly melded with the best aspects of the architecture and charm of our home. In a time when so many designers try to incorporate all the 'bells and whistles" that are trendy (and add to their profit margin), her design and guidance for our preferences and choices resulted in the perfect combination of function and art - a space that is a pleasure to behold and a joyful place to work and congregate. It has become the natural center of our home. She respected our preferences and values while guiding us to solutions that worked, from the broad aspects of the overall design to the details such as drawer pulls that finish the project. She was timely and reliable in all phases of the work, and quickly solved unexpected glitches that are inherent in working with an older home. We could not have been more pleased.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lia when I stopped in her store to purchase hardware. She had a large selection plus provided me with books to look if I couldn't find anything in store. I noticed the beautiful cabinetry when looking around her store and she told me that she does the custom cabinetry. When we did our addition we used her for the built in's. She designed our cabinetry which turned out beautifully, that we had her design a built in for our dining room and now our living room built in and fireplace. She is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend her.

I live in a circa 1900 farmhouse that had a kitchen with minimal updates. The purpose of this project was to modernize the kitchen while maintaining the integrity of a country kitchen. Lia grasped this vision very quickly and provided 4 different versions of the space all of which captured the ambience of a country kitchen. The quality of the cabinetry was first rate and the installation was done by an amazing craftsman who worked for Lia, and was not at all put off by the fact that almost nothing was plumb or square. Lia offered a large and varied choice for door design and hardware as well as counter top options. The project took about 6 months from start to finish mostly due to planning and ordering time for cabinetry and appliances. The installation time itself took about two week. My experience with Lia was very positive. She was creative, accessable and unflappable. I would not hesitate to recommend her very highly. I am delighted with my kitchen and it has become my favorite room in the house.

We were provided with a full kitchen design, including where to select countertops, and fixtures. Lia also provided us with 3 of our bathrooms' cabnentry. We chose to use Lia because of her attention to detail and design. We have a beautiful kitchen and are very pleased.
