David did an awesome job installing two new exterior doors at my house. His attention to detail is truly impressive. I will gladly recommend his services to my neighbors and friends.

Can't say enough good things about the work they did. He kept us updated as things went alone, was there when he said he would be and kept a beautiful and clean job site. Very happy with the job they did!!

They just finished replacing all of the support poles on my front porch, Fred did all the work in just two days and I can not say enough about his attention to detail and his desire to the best job possible. Great company i whole heartily recommend this company.

Hubby for Hire is a very professional organization. They are neat and complete work on time. Always willing to work within your needs. For me David had vision and was able to see the project completed knowing what I would like before I did!! The project was completed within the projected budget. I only wish I had more projects for him to complete!

What comes to mind when I think of David and his team are the words: "superb," "outstanding," "professional," and "perfection." Hubby for Hire remodeled my mother's bathrooms recently, and we are still in awe! They take great pride in their craftsmanship; and the projects are simply works of art. If you like punctuality, wit, charm, and an overall great personality, you will certainly enjoy Fred. He is truly an expert in his field. Chase is a professional young man with a wonderful attitude, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure that the project is accomplished. Last, but definitely not least, the owner David is extremely professional (he's actually a perfectionist), very likeable, patient, understanding, and kind... and he has competitive prices! Additionally, his entrepreneurial story is very interesting. Our hubbies are the best and we look forward to upcoming projects in the 2017. I am certain that my mother's home will not be on the market long!

Both my mom and our family recently moved to Virginia and needed to prepare our respective homes for sale in CT. Dave and his team were simply exceptional in preparing our homes for quick sales (three days in my case) in our absence. Their work ethic is the best and the quality of their work is excellent. Our work was accomplished in a timely manner and exactly as we specified. I cannot recommend Hubby for Hire enough. They are reliable, trustworthy and take pride in their work.

Hubby for Hire designed and built a bench/cubbies in order for us to create a pseudo-mudroom. Their patience in reviewing multiple designs/configurations was appreciated as we tried to figure out how to maximize utility in a small space. We were extremely pleased with how everything turned out and will definitely use them again.

David (Hubby) has done dozens of home improvements jobs for me over the past 10 years. Jobs have ranged from a couple hours, such as repairing some flashing/shingles on the exterior of the house, to a full bathroom remodel. Most recently David installed a new back door and opened up an interior wall for me. Communication has been prompt and all my questions/concerns thoroughly addressed. A detailed quote is provided, fully explained and I have never had any billing issues. The job site is always cleaned up each day. My experience has been excellent, David is the first person I call for all my home improvement needs!

I have used hubby for hire on too many projects to list as have others in my family. Dave is honest, hard working and in many cases, offers ideas relating to a project that make it better than the original request.

I have had Hubby for Hire (David) complete several projects in my home; painting a ceiling, installation of a large closet organizer, shelving for my living room, installation of under counter lighting and other projects I can't think of at the moment. His prices are very reasonable and his work is high quality. David is very professional, has a great personality; great to work with, very patient and is a perfectionist. First of all, I had hired this company for a previous large project---replacing vanities in two bathrooms---so I already knew that they were highly professional. This particular project involved replacing my kitchen counters, removing wall paper from one kitchen wall, painting the kitchen, building a bracket to support the new counter, remounting an over the sink light, and doing other small related items. Hubby for Hire did all of the work except the actual creation of the "solid surface" counter. The work was of excellent quality, as expected. As usual, the "Hubbies" were prompt, cheerful, professional, and efficient. I really appreciate how courteous and thoughtful the they are. They also helped me make decisions about paint colors and counter type, as they had also done with the bathrooms. I can't recommend them highly enough!

We've hired David Coleman, owner/operator of Hubby for Hire on several occasions. We continue to call David/Hubby for Hire because of the high quality of the work of him & his team. David/Hubby for Hire is always on time and just as importantly, within budget. Some of the projects Hubby for Hire completed for us included - completely tearing down & rebuilding the large wood columns at our front entrance. These columns were destroyed by carpenter ants and rotting due to several years of water damage. We are extremely pleased with the end result - from scratch columns built perfectly to maintain to beautiful look of our front entrance. Hubby for Hire also rebuilt & redesigned the stairs leading from the sunporch to the pool area. Old stairs were shallow and in poor shape. Again David Coleman redesigned the stairs into a safe & beautiful long stairway with a nice large landing with plenty of room for a large planter. The Hubby for Hire team has also installed heat wires on a troublesome area of roof where the ice would collect in winter causing a dangerous situation. This also required installing a new electrical outlet from the porch into the mudroom. Again, a perfectly well done job. I could go on, however, the point is, I would highly recommend David Coleman & Hubby for Hire - you will not be disappointed.
