We hired Hummingbird Hill Homes to build our home. We were impressed with Aaron's transparency and honesty from the very first meeting. Aaron, Ian and the entire Hummingbird Hill team are passionate, detail orientated and dedicated to their job. We personally found the customer portal very useful. By using the portal, we essentially had a live timeline of the build process, it also provided details of the financials so we had accurate information as to how much we had already invested financially and what costs were upcoming. This was an invaluable resource with this scope of work. Our site supervisor was organised, showed tremendous attention to detail and was extremely hard working. All trades they worked with were highly professional and very efficient. Another thing to note is they were very considerate to our neighbours and the job site was always clean and tidy. We felt our Site Supervisor, Aaron, Ian and the entire Hummingbird Hill team went above and beyond and we couldn't be happier with the result. We love our new home!

We hired Hummingbird Hill for our new custom build in SE Oakville. We spoke with a number of other builders but we didn't feel the same level of trust and comfort that we had after meeting with Aaron. From start to finish, the entire Hummingbird team was a pleasure to work with. Great communication, transparency and attention to detail throughout the build. Their trades were also excellent and very professional. With this being our first build, Aaron and team were readily accessible to answer questions in order for us to make educated and informed decisions. The project always felt in control, which made the experience enjoyable and surprisingly stress free! Most importantly, we absolutely love the end result.

Aaron and his team completed a large interior and exterior renovation on our 1960's 2 storey home and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Throughout the entire process all team members were extremely accessible, professional and a pleasure to work with. This was our very first renovation project and they guided us through step by step and made the process enjoyable. I really like Aaron's style. You feel like you are in charge of what the outcome is and are always fully informed and consulted if changes need to happen. I found him professional, friendly and very respectful of our home while they worked on our bedroom/bathroom renovation. It was a very different experience from many of our past renovations with other companies. I also found that the management of multiple trades were well organized, resulting in an efficient process. We are very happy with our new bedroom and bathroom! We feel like we got exactly what we agreed to and it was a very positive experience from start to finish!

I am glad we are all done now and that I can write this review in my new basement office. The Hummingbird Hill Homes & Construction has done a phenomenal job, on time and within the budget we were given with the final pricing. The feared job of dealing with paperwork and getting necessary permits, we hardly felt, construction part was what can be expected, mess at times (read demolition of main entrance, as we had to expand the foyer and relocate front door), trades always on time, site cleaned (which was really important to us) after the work day, all questions addressed and dealt with immediately. What more can one ask for from a contracting company? Thanks for the great job and keep scoring high.

Having worked with Hummingbird Hill on numerous projects regarding landscaping, I can confirm no one is as organized and/or prepared when we show up to work. Communication is clear and their clients best interests are always paramount. Highly recommend!

To be honest, we expected our home building experience to be challenging based on the horror stories you hear about but our experience with Aaron Miller from Hummingbird Hill was in fact an enjoyable (and dare I say fun!) journey...his results are amazing because he is well organized, a clear and effective communicator and very detail oriented. His online client access website even allowed us to watch our homes progress while up at the cottage during the summer! Our designer was so thrilled with Aaron's approach and calm personality that she told us on numerous times she wishes she could clone him for all her jobs. Highly recommend Aaron!
