I highly recommend Renaissance Contractors for any remodeling job. We had our kitchen and basement remodeled by them. It came out perfect. The entire experience was exceptional because of their craftmanship, professionalism, daily communication and being on budget. Hunter Steadly, the owner, came to the job site each day to facilitate the project. He was easy to converse with, listened to our concerns, and kept the entire project focused. Boliva, the main carpenter, was exceptional. He was very creative and his craftmanship was outstanding. The entire team was very conscious of our home and kept the job site clean and tidy. Renaissance Contractors were superb in every way. We would hire them again for any remodeling project we may have in the future.

I recently worked with Hunter and his team to add a master bath and two walk-in closets. The project went smoothly and came out great—on time, on budget, great attention to detail, and just a beautiful job. Renaissance and partners were not only concerned about doing great work, but with great communication, kept the inevitable upheaval in daily routine to a minimum. Add to that a clean worksite and openness to my ideas, good give and take, it was truly a delightful experience!

We worked with Hunter and Renaissance Contractors to renovate much of the interior of our new house. We found him to be delightful to work with -- very responsive, on-time, detail-oriented and trustworthy. Our project was completed on schedule (slightly early!) and in-budget. Additionally, the crew, and especially Jonathan of Bedrock Remodeling, did stunning and meticulous work. No matter the mess, it was cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, including all furniture put back into place. Already thinking about future projects with Renaissance!

When Renaissance Contractors rebuilt the back of my house, installing new casement windows and french doors, they encountered unforeseen problems within the wall structure. Hunter was on top of it all, and when the door that was ordered did not work, he quickly purchased another door of an even higher quality and brought it to the job site himself in order to keep the project on track. His workers were all polite, responsible, and kept everything tidy all during construction. I cannot say enough good things about Renaissance and hope to hire them again for an upcoming kitchen project in our new house.

Renaissance Contracting renovated our kitchen and two bathrooms. They did an excellent job and were professional and skillful. The rooms turned out great. We recommend them highly.

Hunter is helpful, always on schedule, makes great recommendations, uses local vendors whenever possible, and Lance (the person who performed most of the labor) was meticulous and is a really nice guy to boot. Hunter's standards are high and he's always willing to make adjustments, follow up on feedback, etc. Renaissance previously remodeled a bathroom, and now we are close to completing our second project with Hunter (our basement) and will certainly use him again!

Hunter and his crew were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I felt very comfortable having them in my home, it was like having family here. The workmanship is top notch, very thorough and well done and the completed both my projects right on time. And they kept the mess to a minimum. I can't recommend them highly enough and I'm having them back in a month or so to do my kitchen. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Thanks Renaissance!!!

I have worked with Hunter for many years and he remains one of the most polite, professional and considerate contractors I've had the pleasure of dealing with. His work ethic and attention to detail are impeccable and show in his completed jobs. I would recommend him to anyone looking for any remodeling or renovation work done to their property.

Hunter and his team were outstanding. Great outcome. My wife and I felt completely comfortable with his crew being on the second floor of our home. We had no problem leaving while they were working our a complete renovation of our 2nd floor hall bathroom. The house was built in 1936, so it was a tough job. That said, he kept his word and the job was finished on time. Renaissance runs a tight project plan and stays on track.

Renaissance did a great job in our remodel of our 1874 brown stone in Bolton Hill. I was a total renovation and Hunter and his crew did and excellent job and finished very timely. I would highly recommend Renaissance.
