Had a most pleasant experience with this local business in an effort to have a small kitchen cabinet drawer repaired. Had called many contacts but to no avail. Finally Mr Greg Pappenfous ( hope I spelled that correctly) at Ideal took on my small project, completed it on time, beautifully restored and the price was hard to beat. My heartfelt thanks for a job well done. I highly recommend their work.

Scott was so pleasant to work with and always available to answer questions. He has a wonderful knowledge of cabinetry and design which made the experience enlightening and fun. This project included a kitchen remodel as well as a prep kitchen and Laundry room.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Evelyn and Scott of Ideal Cabinets in Greensboro, NC. Our initial thought was to reface the existing cabinetry installed in 1998 when our home was built. After listening to a number of proposals from various vendors , we decided to change the project scope to include all new cabinets. We had replaced the counter tops and back splash 7 years ago and were concerned that saving all of these past upgrades would present a major challenge resulting in increased costs. Enter Scott and Evelyn. Scott meticulously measured the existing layout not once , not twice but three times to assure the proper fit with present foot print and surrounding decor. He and Evelyn listened to us as we selected the style and color and made appropriate suggestions to save us money and still maintain the finish product we desired. Specifically , we reused the hardware where possible. The installation was an amazing process to watch. Each Subcontractor was timely , professional and accommodating in completing the project. The new cabinets fit the existing foot print with minimal interference , the original back splash and counter tops were all saved with no damage and daily cleanup was a part of the their normal routine. Communication was excellent and followup to small routine punch list items was handled quickly and respectfully to meet our life style needs. We were very pleased with the entire project which resulted in an amazing transformation of our kitchen area. Scott and Evelyn are the best.

Scott designed our extensive kitchen renovation to include extra space utilization, ergonomic details, and advice on the products and contractors involved. I was able to save our favorite Smithsonian Design archived wallpaper without a problem., and the manager of our job was truly instrumental in my choices of what to cherish and save. My wishes were followed to the tee and with extra consideration was given to me for my wanting a very classic design that fit in with my wide plank pine floors and brick tiles. Evelyn helped me patiently with all the extra details I had my heart set on. She is a professional with many years of experience, and wonderful to process the design with when you think you have been unwise in your own choices. She gave me the support! Our cabinet builder was meticulous and included me in every detail. Best of all , we were set up on a finely tuned schedule and the job was finished with amazing accuracy from the schedule presented at the start. Needless to say it has been worth every penny. Would not change a thing.

We were amazed at the professionalism of the staff and the contractors chosen for our extensive kitchen remodel. Everyone involved was thoughtful and gave us what has turned out to be a perfect kitchen that is ergonomic for growing old with our home. We gained space through Scott's design work and Evelyn made it come together from my descriptions and found all of the requested decor additions. She is so pleasant and thorough to work with. We are pleased and felt the pricing was worth it in the final product. Thanks to everyone!
