Hired FHL to power rake and fertilize 2 acres and they did a fabulous job, fast, efficient and just great work. Would highly recommend !

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Elizabeth and her exceptional team in the Summer of 2024. We had a fairly substantial patio and outdoor fireplace project that we had been thinking about over the course of a decade. Elizabeth approached the project with professionalism and ensured we fully understood the scope and provided advice based on experience and expertise. The Fair Haven team was incredibly responsive to our questions and ensured the final result met, and exceeded, our expectations. Fair Haven will be our first choice for any future landscaping needs.

We were absolutely bowled over when our final invoice came in significantly LOWER than the original estimate. The all woman crew worked tirelessly, finished ahead of schedule,cleaned up after themselves, laughed constantly as they chatted with each other, and were delightful in their interactions with us. Kirsten explained exactly what she was doing and coordinated the job so we saved on hauling and on materials. I would highly recommend this team to anyone who wants a great job done efficiently and beautifully. Thank you Fair Haven team!!

Going from a design in your head to a finished project was made easy by Elizabeth and her team’s knowledge. She worked with our design and provided great suggestions on trees and plants that would thrive. We have had many days and nights enjoying our yard listening to the new water feature. There have been many complements by friends and neighbours on our yard. Thanks again FHL for helping us take our yard from drab to fab.

We recently moved to town and our new yard needed to be completely redone! We thought about doing it ourselves, but the amount of time and skill required was beyond our scope. As soon as we met with Elizabeth from FHL, we felt confident that she and her team were the right choice. They listened to what we wanted, were available when we called, came up with some amazing plans, and executed them perfectly...and all within budget! Once the initial planning was done, it took them no time at all to finish the project! We can't believe how quickly it all came together and how amazing it looks! We are extremely happy with our yard and would 100% recommend FHL!

Fair Haven Landscaping did an amazing job with our backyard! Beyond what I could have dreamed up. And talk about a hard-working crew! I am so very thankful that we went with this team. Our backyard has become one of my very favourite places and a true oasis.

Elizabeth and FHL were great to work with. We had a back yard that we really didn't like, but didn't know what to do with it. Elizabeth came over to look at our yard and made suggestions. She listened to our dislikes about our yard and the ideas we'd been tossing around and then drew up 3 possible plans for our yard. Those 3 plans were collaboratively blended into a final design, with 3 phases that will occur over time. Elizabeth gave us options for materials (types of mulch, stepping stones, etc) with the pros and cons and the approximate cost differences. She was also honest and told us that purchasing our own large raised planters would be way cheaper than the cost of them building them, although they could certainly custom build them for us. We were fortunate that there was a similar job around the same time, so we were given the option of "overlapping" the jobs to save on larger equipment rental costs - which helped bring our project in under the estimated budget. After the job was complete, Elizabeth and one of her crew members went over the yard with us, making adjustments and explaining the care of our new plants heading into the fall. And we received a follow up email this spring, asking if we had any questions after the winter. We're looking forward to completing the 2nd and 3rd steps of our project in the future!

Elizabeth and her team managed a dynamic landscaping reno of our entire 10000sf back yard. From concepts though planning to delivery, her communications and recommendations clearly demonstrated her knowledge and experience as an experienced landscape professional. While circumstances outside her control impacted construction and slowed progress, her team persevered and kept a positive attitude throughout which culminated in our "dream" coming true. Her team managed changes on the fly, inevitable expansion and adjustments as the project unfolded. When encountering obstacles, Elizabeth did not hesitate to consult her peers and develop solutions in concert with her clients. We are now able to enjoy an enhanced outdoor living and play area which friends and family will share with us as it matures. Elizabeth was very knowledgeable and helpful when making suggestions for our landscaping. We had had a different contractor (Herron's Landing) do the initial work ~4-5 years ago and it didn't hold up at all, so we needed a rescue. The consultation and design process was simple. The work was done professionally, on time and under budget. Get your landscaping done with FHL!

Elizabeth, Mike and the crew were amazing for our first phase of landscaping on our property. Elizabeth came out to the farm and spent quite a few hours with us getting an understanding of what we were looking for, what could work, and then scoping out the work including figuring out the grading (quite a deep slope that they were going to have to work with). Elizabeth kept in touch with us prior to the work starting to answer any questions we had and also to re-quote based on phases of work. Mike and the crew were great to have on our property - very professional, hard working and pleasant (despite the wasps, rain and temperatures!). The finished phase 1 was everything we could hope for - I've shared pictures with friends and everyone is extremely impressed with the retaining wall, garden bed and prep work for the stone work the crew will be doing in the spring. Really looking forward to what Elizabeth comes up with for the remaining retaining wall and backyard deck! I highly recommend Fair Haven!

Elizabeth and her team were the ultimate professionals. Their work was impeccable, the communication was great and they were lovely to have around. I highly recommend them!

In Sylvan Lake we had an existing patio with bricks and a concrete wall lifted, bricks cleaned and adhesive removed and then the area re-leveled and relaid. It was pretty labour intensive but Mike’s crew worked hard and completed the work under-budget. They did a fine job and a thorough cleanup. We are very happy with the results and would certainly recommend FHL for your landscape work.
