Urban Ecology is an all-encompassing landscape company that is uniquely prepared to match our existing surroundings with your desire for a pleasing home. From design to installation, Urban Ecology is your partner to creating beautiful natural landscapes. Building landscapes that mimic the natural environment for both aesthetic and functional reasons is our specialty. Native plants are the core of all our designs, and many other non- native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants that are grown locally are incorporated into our designs. We also design and build custom fences, gates and decks that define spaces, the vegetable and herb gardens that can fill them, and build natural stone patios and walkways that let a person move through their space. Urban Ecology is devoted to creating and even maintaining an optimal environment, but the true test of the design is its longevity. Our landscapes are designed to be self-sustaining, however it takes time for the landscape to mature. We offer maintenance for our projects for a period of three to five years, until the landscape is mature enough to sustain itself.
