I couldn’t be happier with my experience of working with Jan. I was ready to update my living room and dining room from traditional to transitional. I wanted to use my old furniture, but get a current feel. Jan listened to what I wanted , and accomplished a new and current look with ease. She was able to re-cover my existing furniture, replace my old window treatments, recommend a new paint color, order a new carpet and re do my guest bathroom. The look is so current and fresh. She is now helping me with some final decorating details, and I plan to use her assistance moving forward to update other rooms in my house. She is a wonderful person to work with and my experience has been 5+ stars.

As the architect for this renovation and new addition to an office building/headquarters for a major contractor, our firm designed the core shell and basic partitioning layout. Jan Jernoske Interiors did a very good job selecting and overseeing finishes and fittings such as door and hardware styles. Jan also designed very sophisticated finishes for the private and public function spaces. She worked well with our firm coordinating adjustments to partition and door locations. She made this part of the work a pleasure. I would give her design firm high references.

Starting any home project is overwhelming in itself. Where to begin, how to begin and everything in between. My husband and I interviewed several interior designers to help us with our first floor and kitchen renovation. We hadn’t spoken to anyone who really moved us, that is until we spoke with Jan. Jan did an amazing job updating and beautifying the dark, industrial-like hallways of our cooperative garden apartment building. From choosing fabulous colors for the walls, doors, saddles, lighting and wall decor, to staying on top and present during the process made it a pleasurable experience. The halls and stairways are truly beautiful, compliments have been plentiful. Her patience was a key factor, since there were so many opinions coming from board members as well as shareholders.
