About Us

Home Staging by SPC, founded by Joanne Bechhoff is an award winning Home Staging and Interior Decorating & Redesign company. Services include staging new and existing homes to appeal to the broadest market. Interior Decorating & Redesign services breath new life into existing homes. Joanne is also co-founder of G. B. Construction & Development, Inc. a new construction & remodeling company established in 1986. Over 25 years of experience gives Joanne insight into what buyers are looking for in a home in today's market and how to create fabulous spaces for how you live. Joanne is a past President of RESA (Real Estate Staging Association) Long Island Chapter and a board member of NARI-NYC/LI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry). Joanne has a degree in Business Administration, Certificate in Architectural Drafting, is a Certified Green Professional and a Universal Design Certified Professional.

Joanne staged my home because we're preparing to sell. Our listing realtors saw how it looked prior to her staging and then right after she finished. They were quite impressed. They were convinced she had made all the right decisions. Joanne made my home so beautiful I wish I weren't selling. Or at least I wish I had it looking it like this for my own personal enjoyment! Joanne has a great eye for color, arrangement of furniture, wall displays, and just making a home look its absolute best. As I look on line for my next home I can tell who had a stager work with them and who choose to allow their home to be photographed without staging. All I can say is I'm glad I had help preparing my home to be sold. Joanne made it look fabulous.

A Beautiful Staged Home and The Colorful Bee

Joanne is a consummate professional and she is such an asset to homeowners, realtors and real estate investors. Not only a talented decorator, home stager and color specialist, Joanne's knowledge of the construction industry allows her to give clients sage advice when it comes to updating or renovating a property for sale. Sometimes just a small detail, like adding a portico to the front entrance, can net a home seller more money and less days on market. (Joanne suggested this recently and the home sold 1 day after the Open House).

Home Staging by SPC provided staging services to prepare my home for sale. Their services were amazing. Joanne and her team knew exactly what had to be done to make my house attractive to potential buyers. Prior to staging, my real estate agent said my house looked dated. After the staging and needed repairs were done, my real estate agent literally jumped for joy. As a result of the work done by Home Staging by SPC, my house sold in just 8 days for a very good price. I truly believe that if it were not for Joanne and Home Staging by SPC, the selling process would have been long and drawn out. I highly recommend that anyone wanting to sell their home or stage it for any other reason, use Home Staging by SPC.
